Speaker 1:

Alright, alright, alright, welcome to the show. This is the frankly fantasy football pot, as we are your hosts, frankie and Johnny. I am Johnny and I prefer silver over gold. Frankie, can you explain to us? I just learned something new about you today. You're like a brother to me. I've known you all of your life. For sure. What is your preference on jewelry accessories?

Speaker 2:

So, as I was telling you that's a good point, john as I was telling you, I used to be a silver guy, but then, as I got older, my skin tone changes. A little bit more olive oil, skin tone, right, and so then a little more olive, should I say so? Then I used to go gold, but now I'm rose gold.

Speaker 1:

That's interesting. So explain the rose gold Is it? Are you just getting more? Is your phone like? You have the rose gold case on your phone as well, and a little?

Speaker 2:

handbag, it goes with it, or how far you taking this. So I you know my wedding ring is rose gold, my necklace is rose gold and you know what I'm actually thinking about getting another little ring that's going to be rose gold. So you know, I'm a little rosy today, man, and whatever you know.

Speaker 1:

You know it would look really good, though it match your wedding ring really nicely, as if you got a nose ring that's rose gold as well, while you're at it, man, you remember, for those listening and watching, I used to have earrings that were hoops.

Speaker 2:

Man, I should have got rose gold earrings.

Speaker 1:

Man really cool. You know, we've all had those douchebag days in our life, man. I remember mine well, I remember yours well, actually.

Speaker 2:

Mine was a long bearded time.

Speaker 1:

I feel like you're just getting out of it. You're just emerging from the douchebag pupil stage.

Speaker 2:

Coming out. I'm back.

Speaker 1:

Well, welcome back to the show. Welcome to the show everybody. Oh, we've got a great show for you today. Don't forget to follow us on social media, on Instagram and, frankly, fantasy football, great follow, good information and really, really funny shit. And I know you listen to us on audio and everywhere podcasts are found. Please come to YouTube, please subscribe, hit the notification button. We do two episodes every week audio and video. Today, friday, we've got our week 10 starts and sits, smash and pass. We're going to talk a little bit about some buy or sell candidates as well, some guys that Franky and I have identified as now being the time to take advantage of a few of these guys. But first we're going to talk a little bit of news.

Speaker 2:

Let's see what happens. You all listen to this dumbed expense. Let's get some news.

Speaker 1:

Okay, a couple quick things here. Justin Jefferson just to give you a quick update on him. He's still out. He's back with the team. He's still out. It's going to be a little while. It sounds like his hamstring is feeling a lot better. They're not putting a timetable on it yet, so I would not expect Justin Jefferson in the next week or so. It could be two to three weeks here, but keep an eye on that. He is soon to get back.

Speaker 1:

Tommy DeVito, danny DeVito the other half of the twins here will start for the New York Giants on Sunday. Don't expect big things here, guys. I think really the only person on the Giants team that you can start is Seyquan, and you're probably going to have to temper your expectations. He'll get a ton of work, but he's going to see a lot of stack boxes there. James Connor could return this week. He is looking at practicing this week. Keep an eye on him. I don't have enough information yet at the time of this recording, but it's looking like it's possible he plays. Keep an eye there. Looks like Kyler Murray is going to play, so Kyler Murray will start this week.

Speaker 1:

Jamar Chase this one's not good if you've got Jamar Chase Still questionable with the back injury. This may be a game time decision. Keep an eye on that Watch and see what's going on there, but make plans just in case you might not have Jamar Chase this week. Real bad news here as well for the Bengals T Higgins this just came out on Thursday. Actually, t Higgins, likely out on Sunday with a hamstring injury, came up with a hamstring on Wednesday. Not good. When that happens during the week, he's probably going to be out. Possibly Jamar Chase could be out as well. If you've got two good quarterbacks one of them is Joe Burrow you might want to look at that when you're making this decision. I do think that this means Joe Mixing could be a smash play this week, do you agree?

Speaker 2:

Totally agree. He could absolutely carry the load for them this week against the Houston defense. All right, man.

Speaker 1:

All right, let's get to our hidden, quitted baby. All right, frankie. Week 10. Week 10 is a by camp Leevorn double digit weeks right now. That is so crazy. What the regular season We've only got. What four weeks left of the fantasy football regular season? Stop it.

Speaker 2:

That's ridiculous. When you said dude, I almost have a tear coming down my eyes.

Speaker 1:

What? What happened? You know what? That? That a little bit of poop just came out just now because I just realized a couple of my teams. They are not ready for the season to be over and head into the playoffs. Yeah, I need a few more wins here, man.

Speaker 2:

Carry over the wins to next year, can you?

Speaker 1:

just get notes, keep rolling, tell me about it. Tell me about it. All right, we do have some big buys this week too. There's only four teams on a buy, but, man, there's some fantasy players on these teams. We've got the chiefs out, the Rams out, the dolphins out and the Eagles out, so we have three big quarterbacks you're not going to have. We've got a lot of receivers that you're not going to have this week.

Speaker 1:

Actually, it's good that the Rams are on a buy, because you're you would have to bench Puka and Cooper Cup this week with what's his name, mark Rippin in there. Luckily they're on a buy. Mark Rippin, or Mark Rippin, jesus, brett Rippin Are they related? It's got to be like an uncle or something, right? Yeah, luckily they're on a buy. Brett Rippin, they did cut his ass. They've got Carson Wentz now that they signed as a backup plan. So that's good.

Speaker 1:

Cooper and Puka, they're going to be safe. They're going to be fine. It's going to be Matt Stafford, or it's going to be Carson Wentz and Carson Wentz. It's not going to be what Matt Stafford was giving you with those guys, but he's a serviceable quarterback. He'll be able to get the ball to them and distribute the ball. So that's good news. Those guys will be safe. You've got some receivers out for the dolphins and you've got a lot of assets out for the Eagles that you're missing this week. All right, frankie, so let's look at your tier one here. With 12 to 16 team leagues, who are the guys you're liking this week, man? Who do you love? Yeah, man.

Speaker 2:

So there are to your point, a shit ton of receivers that are out, guys. So we need to really dive in and understand. If I'm looking to start a receiver in a heavy man league 12 to 16 man this is key. First guy up Tank Dell. Tank Dell has truly been one of those rookies that has blown the box off that. Nobody was expecting this level of productivity. We expected him to be good. We expected him to be explosive, based on what he did in college. Not to this level, and it has been very impressive. Play, guys. Last week alone, we know what he did right, we talked about it at length two touchdowns, 114 yards receiving and six receptions Absolutely dominant Guys.

Speaker 2:

They are playing a Bengals defense right now that is ranked 22nd in passing defense. Not good. The way CJ Stroud is throwing the ball, the way their number one cornerback is going to be shading Nico Collins this will open up for not only Dalton Schultz, but very much so Tank Dell. And now you layer on. You know T Higgins is out, jamar Chase might be out. This game script just got a whole lot sexier for that of the Houston Texans. So for me, man, I'm going in on Tank Dell and I'm going to put my money where my mouth is and I'm going to start them this week as well, alongside or while they're playing against that of Cincinnati Bengals.

Speaker 1:

I love that call. Stay in the flames of Tank Dell this week, man, I like it.

Speaker 2:

Definitely John. The next guy here is one that's been I mean, we've talked about it, we've talked about him multiple times and who this is? It's Jalen Warren. Guys, jalen Warren continues to look good when he gets the ball and with this type of matchup against that of Green Bay this week, I see Jalen Warren continuing to carry the rock. He had 11 carries last week for 88 yards, caught all three targets for 25 yards. Yes, najee also looked good. This is a rarity that we've seen. This entire year Najee has not looked explosive whatsoever. Jalen Warren in deep leagues against a really bad Green Bay Packers team that has been bad now since pretty much after week three of this year. Right, I think that they could get actually ahead. The Steelers could really pull ahead with their defense. And now, guess what? It's the two headed tandem between Warren and Najee. I'm going with Warren in a deeply this week.

Speaker 1:

He's running back 30 right now, which doesn't sound impressive, but he's a backup running back Yep and he's never had more than 50% of the snaps and I think the fact that he's getting in there about 40% of the time I think that's helping Najee. To be honest, I think if Najee were in the game the entire time and they just keep running them up the middle, that's not really his game. I think it's about efficiency and when you've got two guys like this that can split time, I think it helps both of them. It makes them both more efficient, keeps them fresh. But Jalen Warren yeah, I mean this is a guy. He's a low end running back to. At this point. I feel very comfortable getting him in there and you get a bonus touchdown out of that.

Speaker 1:

He had 12, almost 13 points last week and a half PPR, and that's without a touchdown. You throw a touchdown in there. He's creeping up to 20 points for you, yeah. So I think it's a great play. He looks very explosive. They kind of take turns at the goal line. There's not really a set way of who's the third down guy, who's the goal line guy. It really could be either of these two and I think that bodes well. It's not an established role, it's you're going to get half. You know 60, 40 basically is what they're looking at and I think those are very valuable. They're not throwing the ball very well. Picket is not not been great, he's just kind of a game manager and I think they lean heavily on both of these running backs. Love it, love it, man, love it. I'm starting him myself. I started him last week when he got 15 points. I'm starting him again this week because of the buys and I feel great about it.

Speaker 2:

It's not an area I'm concerned about, john then the next guy here is is something that's interesting for me. I'm going with Tyler Boyd, deep leagues right now, knowing Tyreeks out, jalen Waddles out, cedric Wilson's out. You have Devonte Smith, aj Brown, right. You have Zaccheus if you, or a Kias if you wanted to actually, you know, dive in further on the Eagles.

Speaker 1:

And then you know Kuka Cooper exactly All the chiefs guys that are running, you know, doing cardio out there on the field, yeah, and the S like sky more right.

Speaker 2:

They're really in shape. Okay, they're very hard. So I'm rolling with Tyler Boyd. I'm rolling with Tyler Boyd man, with Higgins being out. Jamar Chase is banged up. They're playing against a Houston team and what we can actually say is a must win game for the Bengals. The reason being is because of how tight the AFC North race is. Every game any AFC North team is playing as must win at this point time, because of that's how close. So right now, in order for Joe Burrow to be successful, he's going to have to throw the rock on top of leaning on that of Joe Mixon, the guy who's going, who's a proven guy to him, who's already shown success. Tyler Boyd, lock and end. I love this matchup, with Higgins out.

Speaker 1:

I like that a lot too. I think Houston's going to struggle running the ball. They've kind of struggled all year to run the ball really, so I see them throwing a lot and it's going to cause. You would think, well, the Bengals are just going to run Joe Mixon, they're going to throw to the tight end and all of that. No, they're going to have to throw the ball. I think Houston will be very aggressive. They're coming off of a huge, huge victory scoring I think they scored 38 points, something like that. They're going to come out, they want to come out here and they want to make a statement. I think they're going to throw the ball quite a bit. Cj Stroud has a lot of confidence. So I do think the Bengals aren't going to just be able to sit back, play defense and run the ball. They're going to have to throw. Yeah, and they may have to run the ball by throwing the ball like quick ends and using Tyler Boyd in the slot. I think that's a really good call, man, sneaky, sneaky call Sneaky, sneaky.

Speaker 2:

The last one, john, for 12 to 16 man league. I'm firing up our boy Monty. He is back for the Lions. That one to punch. Now this one might be a little bit more. Well, yeah, if you got him, you're probably firing him up.

Speaker 2:

But for those of you who might have had Deandre Swift and you've been sitting on that of Monty and maybe you have like another Rashad White or something like that, you're popping in Monty and you're feeling great about it. Man, on this bi-week guys, what LA with the Chargers have done outside of last week? They've been terrible. They have been very, very bad from a defensive perspective. So last week I actually wanted to actually throw that away. The reason being is because Zach Wilson was terrible and so that defense at the Chargers when they played against them fed off that. And now you have Cleo Mack coming hot and heavy off the end with that of Joey Bosa and right the entire team, derwin James coming down.

Speaker 2:

But when you're playing the Lions, when you have Jared golf being a top 10 quarterback, you have Amon Ross, st Brown, you have now DPJ, you have Cleo Raymond, clef Raymond and Sam Laporta. Right Now you have Monty and Gibbs. They're not going to be able to do what they did against the Jets. So for me, man, I'm locking in Monty before he was out. Man, here's what he did 13 points and a half PPR. 11 and a half PPR 34, 23,. Yet, and then he got hurt with three points. That is what he's done. Fire him up and enjoy.

Speaker 1:

Yeah must start. Man must start. At this point he's gonna go right back to his role. Jamir Gibbs will go right back to his role, definitely. It'll be interesting to see how they work in DPJ into this offense too.

Speaker 2:

I hope they do. I hope they do the level of what you know I think he could be. I really it would be great man. It would be great to see it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, I think it'll take a little while, but I think he's better, obviously, than than the other two guys that he's gonna be playing behind. But yeah, it'll be interesting. I'm looking at that and see how that shakes out. All right, who we looking at next? Right?

Speaker 2:

All right so we're gonna go tier two. Now. Tier two not meaning lesser, tier two just meaning different. We're going eight to ten man leagues, right. So this is where you have a little bit more in the waiver, a little bit more on your bench to play with, honestly, in some aspects, more difficult decisions, depending on right who to plug in. So, john, the first guy that I'm saying start is Debo Samuel.

Speaker 2:

Debo Samuel for me. Without him on the field, we have seen it actually be significantly hindering to that of the San Francisco offense. They have been solely relying on that as CMC and what we found is teams understand that now, and so, again, you lock up Brandon, I, you and you put coverage on top of that of George Kittle. They have nobody else, okay. So now that Debo is coming back, it's that safety net on top of that for that of Brock Purdy. They're gonna be able to incorporate him back into the run game and it's gonna alleviate some of the tension off of that of CMC. So for me, man, they're playing at Jacksonville, which is not a good, which is not a super great matchup, like, let me be completely honest but it's the difference making ability that Debo has and the team is in a must win position To to take this W this week. They have to. John. They've lost three in a row. Now they will not lose four, and Debo is gonna be a difference maker.

Speaker 1:

Debo is a difficult guy to really analyze. I mean, he's just a different type and style of receiver and what they do with him with running the ball, yeah, I agree with you. I think they they do need him in this offense. I think he's more important to the offense than he is in just pure stats and pure fantasy. But I I do think this is one of those games where he's back, he's healthy. They want to get him back in the mix. They've got to change something up here. They've dropped a couple of games in a row and they need to change something up. I think the X factor there really is Debo. I think it can help confuse offenses running with different run RPOs with With McCaffrey. They can, you know, bring him around on an end around. There's a lot of different plays that we can see them do and I think it'll he'll be heavily, heavily involved. Good call.

Speaker 2:

John, the next guy here for the tier two guys eight to ten man league a role with Jonathan Taylor. Jonathan Taylor is playing at that of New England. Jonathan Taylor has gotten better in more looks Every single week. On top of it, new England is averaging right now a hundred yards to the opposing Offense from a rushing perspective. So I really think that Jonathan Taylor could be around that 80 mark in terms of rushing. Give him a touchdown on the goal line and maybe a couple catches out of the backfield.

Speaker 2:

We're talking at 16 to 18 point, maybe 20 point game for that of Jonathan Taylor, because what we're seeing here from the New England Patriots guys, they're just not what they used to be and I think it's pretty evident of that. And so if the Colts can actually end up putting together some sustainable and good drives with that a Gardner Minshew, with that of Pittman doing well and more, and in a few others, john, I really see Jonathan Taylor, you know, overtaking, unfortunately, what that exact Moss has done, which he's done very well for this year, but overtaking that spot now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's time the team knows they've got a monster in the backfield. It's time. I mean we've seen, since he came back, came back slowly, 15% of snaps and it went to 40%, and then a 50% 61, and then last week was 74%. So we're I mean, you just see the ladder climbing here it's. It's Jonathan Taylor's backfield now. I'd be surprised if it's not, you know, an 80-20 split. At this point it's time. Yeah, fire them up. You've got your beast. If you've been sitting on them all year, you've been frustrated. I think you're gonna be okay, moving forward here. We've got New England this week. We've got a buy next week. That this New England game, by the way, is in Germany. Let's not forget that 9 30 am Game on Sunday.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, they've got a buy next week Tampa Bay, tennessee, cincinnati, pittsburgh, atlanta and ending on Las Vegas. So he's ending the year in your, your last playoff, in your Super Bowl Atlanta and Vegas. Yes, that's gorgeous. That's gorgeous, yeah, so yes all the pain you've gone through with Jonathan Taylor, that should subside. It's go time, baby. It's go time.

Speaker 2:

John, number three here. I'm going back to Houston. Again. We are talking eight to ten man league. You're probably thinking I'm fucking nuts. But here's the deal I do order back. I'm going CJ Stroud, fire him up. It's not just because he's the number eight quarterback in fantasy football and happy PR. It's not just because he threw up almost 50 points last game against a very formidable Tampa Bay defense. It's because of the game script that is going to be there for that of the Cincinnati Bengals, with the injuries that they're having, with the mojo that CJ Stroud has, the connections that he's developed now with his receivers and tight end. Listen, man, I'm a believer and I think that this could be really interesting. They're not running the ball basically at all. Damian Pierce has been non-existent. Devin Singletary has actually looked better than that of Damian Pierce. So this is CJ Stroud's team and they're relying on him to do it. I'm starting CJ Stroud this week, john.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely, man. I mean just the past volume. You look at his attempts all year. I mean his lowest game of attempts is 24 attempts. That was against Carolina, because you just run the ball the whole time against Carolina, you know. But every other game has been over 30 attempts at passing. Four of those games, three of those games over 40 attempts passing in a game. That's awesome. I mean just that amount of volume. And now we've really seen him hit a stride. Whatever happened after that bye week turned him into a fucking demon man. He's been solid, yeah, and looking at his schedule moving forward is pretty nice too. At Cincinnati it is a tougher matchup, but with the offense banged up they should be able to, you know, throw the ball quite a bit in that game. Then you've got Arizona, jacksonville and Denver all at home. For CJ Stroud it's gorgeous.

Speaker 1:

It's absolutely beautiful, yeah, so enjoy him, man, and we're gonna talk about him in the next segment as well, yeah.

Speaker 2:

Well, she got Frankie John. The last start, guys, is going to be Tony Pollard. Trust me, this is one that's hurt. This has been hurting and I get it and I understand you've been in the flames with Tony Pollard. It's been brutal. But here's the deal if you're not starting him this week, don't just plan on get rid of him at this point in time because he's playing the New York Giants. The shit staying that they are John. It's almost like that. I think wiping and why he painted wiping, but there's still poo. That's what it is the Giants.

Speaker 1:

Are you know what? It's the opposite. We used to play that clip for seguan. Now it's the opposite. It's the entire team around seguan and seguan say and he's the one who's pissed about it, 100% a white and I'll wipe, and I'll wipe, and I'll wipe a hundred times.

Speaker 2:

Still, poop, still poop, still poop. Yeah, I'm wiping a marker or something.

Speaker 1:

It's like Brian Dable is just wiping a marker at this point. It's just still poop. Who's who's your quarterback? Oh great, it's poop. Who's your tight end? It's poop. Who are your receivers? They're poop, yeah yeah.

Speaker 2:

That's. It's literally Brian Dable has to be sitting there Sick, knowing that he came from the bills with Josh Allen, and now he's rolling out Tommy DeVito Like dude just against, wasn't he?

Speaker 1:

wasn't he coach of the year last year as well? I can't remember off the top of my head, off the lid at that, I think he was, because he took that team to the playoffs and it was a huge surprise for the year. I think he was coach of the year last year. That's interesting, that's crazy.

Speaker 2:

He was what he was like OC there, right, I believe her quarterback coach under McDermott, right? Yeah, yeah, oh, yeah, yeah, yeah, I'll have to look into that. That'll be interesting. But dude for Tony pauler guys, he's got a fire up. You know, I understand. Last week, seven points. The week before, six points the week before the buy 14. Then he had five, he had seven. It's been brutal. This is the week to do it. Fire him up, get excited Dallas by 40.

Speaker 1:

Absolutely. My god, tony pauler could have 30 touches in this game, man, definitely. Yeah, I love it. This is the week, guys. If you don't feel great about Tony pauler this week, trade him now. Trade him now. Yeah, this is it.

Speaker 2:

John, I got some sits for us as well. Some people Okay, we are quit. And number one, zay flowers. Zay flowers has been an absolute Cinderella story this year number 37 receiver in van half, ppr Dynamic rookie right up there with Jordan Addison, and a lot of the way he's he's been able to maneuver in the offense and things of that nature.

Speaker 2:

However, when you're playing the Cleveland Browns and their defense and what they have done, john, I read something today that the Cleveland Browns have actually the seventh best defense in NFL history through the first half of the first season Actually, excuse me, not in that fellowship, he's since 1981, I believe is what it was Wow. So when you are literally seeing this and you're understanding to the nature of what they're doing, I do not trust Zay Flowers. A rookie against that of Denzel Ward or against that of Martin Emerson Jr, whatever it may be, temper expectations. They've been running the shit out of the ball. Last week alone, against that of Seattle, he had one point. The week before, against Arizona, he had four points. And against Detroit, he had nine. All of those teams are nowhere near the defense of that of the Browns. So I'm sitting Zay this week.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, that's a good call. I've got Zay Flowers and I am excited about him. I like him a lot. It's difficult to start him in fantasy right now and I think the main reason is because he's not a he's not a number one receiver who's just commanding targets. He has to get the ball. You've got to feed him. It's not like that. He really does need a serviceable good receiver On the outside to take coverage, you know, and to get get a viable option. They have zero viable options on the outside.

Speaker 1:

Odell Beckham he's just washed. He can't stay on the field. He can't get on the field. Rashad Bateman he never got clean. He was washed before he ever even came into the NFL. I mean, the guys just never been able to get on the field and perform. They need a strong one wide receiver and I think that will make Zay Flowers put him into more of a Davontis Smith role and I think he'll eat like crazy, you know. But right now I think it's a little difficult and in this matchup he's definitely matchup based and, yeah, I don't like it. I think the Browns DB's are going to be all over Zay Flowers.

Speaker 2:

Totally, john. I'm going to keep with Baltimore here and I'm going to also say we need to sit just as hill. I get that he started, I get that he had a high snap count, but the issue is is that he had 13 carries for 40 yards last week and the other two running backs went nuclear Again. We're talking about the Cleveland Browns defense. We're talking about there are now three heads in this backfield. I would be leaning to Gus Edwards or that of Keith Mitchell before I started Justice Hill anyways this week, but let alone them playing a stout defense. I'm going elsewhere. Man, sit. Justice Hill, I agree.

Speaker 1:

I don't feel good about starting any of those guys until it kind of shakes out a little more. The reports are coming out today, actually, that Keith Mitchell is going to be into the mix a bit. Three headed monsters. I don't care how good the guys are, it's never a good situation for running back, never.

Speaker 2:

John, I'm going to also lump in for the next sit here. Quit it, we're going to end up lumping in all of the receivers outside of that of CD lamb. So I'm talking Michael Gallop, let me rephrase this Michael Gallop and Brandon Cooks, that's pretty much who we're talking about. The reason being I'm sitting them against the Giants. Now people are like why you just were talking about how shitty the Giants defense is. It's exactly for that reason. I truly believe that the Dallas Cowboys will win this game I'm not kidding by probably 30, 40,. I really believe that. And, with that being said, dak is not going to have to spread the ball to anyone else, but that of CD lamb and that of Ferguson. I really think that. And then you layer on what Tony Pollard is going to be able to do out of the backfield. John, it could be really interesting.

Speaker 2:

I look at what Michael Gallop did the last two weeks against that of LA and against that of Philly when they needed to throw the ball. Okay, michael Gallop, three points and a half PPR, philly against Philly, 2.9 points and half PPR. You look at what Brandon Cooks did right, one point against that of Philly and he finally had a big game outside of the game against the Chargers and he had 12 points and a PPR against the Rams. For me this week, this is not the time that I'm willing to start these pieces. Look elsewhere. I would rather start a Tyler Boyd over that than a Michael Gallop or Brandon Cooks, and it's strictly because of the matchup that is presented.

Speaker 1:

I think CD lamb is difficult this week too. I mean, yeah, he's a smash play, of course. Yeah, but I do think he gets taken out of the game. You know early in this game they're not going to have to throw the ball. I think they'll force it. You know a little bit to him early on. But I do think it's going to be Tony Pollard and Jake Ferguson, fake Jurgson. I mean that guy's been. You want to talk about a great streaming tight end. You, jake Ferguson, on your team. I've got him on one of my teams. Fantastic man, you can keep that going for a little while. He's got a connection with Dak and Dak's never been a big guy of throwing the ball deep down the field very often. No, it's those quick hitters. It's going to find Jurgson fake Jurgson into the end zone and Tony Pollard is going to be running the ball like crazy man. Yeah, love it.

Speaker 2:

John, the last sit, it last quit. It is going to be Gabriel Gabriel Gabriel, gabriel Gabriel Davis. Gabe Davis for the Buffalo Bills can sit his ass down. He's the definition of Gabe man, he's definition of boom bust, even though it's a decent matchup against them with Denver. Here's the problem is that we are seeing a different offense with that of the bills. Dawson Knox goes down.

Speaker 2:

Shakur is really stepping up in his second year out of Boise State and he's really kind of taking over, in my personal opinion, taking over slightly Maybe that receiver too, or maybe vying for that position with Gabe Davis. But on top of it, guys, it's the emergence of Dalton Kincaid. He's truly, truly incredible at what he's doing. He's not just lining up at tight end, he's lining up in the slot, he's lining up outside, they're getting him involved. It's going to take Gabe Davis to have another boom week in order for this to happen. And for me, man, I'm not willing to bet on that again. Right, if we look at what he's done. He had zero points, zero last week. Then he had his boom week 19. Then he had one. Then he had point six. Then he had a boom week 20. Then he had another decent week at 13. Then he had nine and four. So I think you sit him this week, see what happens with this offense and let it ride.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it is Dalton Kincaid. I mean Dalton Kincaid, he's Dawson Knox and a half is kind of what's going on. It's like time and a half with Dawson Knox. He's getting a little more targets, he's getting more involved. That is taking away from Gabe Davis. There's no question about it. Gabe Davis is a guy now where they're going to take deep shots with and you have to hope that one of those deep shots hit.

Speaker 1:

I don't like starting guys like that. You know. I want guys that are going to get targets, going to get volume. You're right, Khalil Shakir has been coming on and stealing some of that. So I think it's just a combination of, you know, two or three guys eating into some of the targets from Gabe Davis, and he can't afford that when it comes to fantasy. No, so I'm with you Now, of course, because you said that this week he's going to score two touchdowns, Just so you know. Yeah, just to make you look like an asshole, but I'm with you. I will go down on that ship with you, Frank, you come in the flames with me, All right. Well, she got baby.

Speaker 2:

That's it. That's it, man. We're wrapped up here, guys. We are wrapped up for the sits and sit it and quit it.

Speaker 1:

All right, I love it. Man, you've always got some really good ones in there. Let's, let's talk about a little buy sell real quick here before we end today. How about that, frankie, love it.

Speaker 2:

Yeah.

Speaker 1:

It's. It's getting to that time your, your trade deadlines coming up. It's usually right around Thanksgiving, usually week 14, 13, 15, something like that. So it's coming. So you got to start looking at what are some last minute moves you're going to make here. Guys, my biggest advice look at when you're looking at players and you're looking at who can get tonight, can I make a trade for whom I look in it, getting rid of one thing for sure Look at the schedule, look at the upcoming schedule. You want to buy guys that have soft schedules and not all schedules are the same just because it's a bad defense or it might be a good defense but they're not good with receivers or they're not good in rushing defense. Pay attention to this stuff. We're going to start making sure that we give you a little more of this info over these next few weeks because of the trade deadlines coming up and the playoffs coming. But look at everyone's schedules moving forward.

Speaker 1:

All right, here's a guy we talked about this guy a lot today actually, but a by candidate for me Tony Pollard. I think he's the ultimate by candidate right now. Yes, the owners are a little bit disappointed with him. He is. Let's see here what is Pollard's rank. I think he's low end Ryan, you see, for two at this point, yeah, he's. He's a low end one receiver too. He's running back 21 or one running back to. He's running back 21 right now and he's had some rough games. I mean he he's been in double digits digits once since week three. That's rough.

Speaker 1:

But let me tell you something, guys we've got such a gorgeous matchup line up here for Tony Pollard moving forward. If you can find somebody who's frustrated with him and trade maybe a Jerome Ford, you know, trade somebody for him, get something there. His schedule moving forward into the Giants this week, then Carolina, washington, seattle, philly, buffalo, miami, detroit. I mean it's all really, really nice. So I think you're going to see Tony Pollard take a huge step forward in the second half here. What do you think?

Speaker 2:

I love it, john, and I totally think that I guys, I think a Jerome Ford, that's a really good call. I think that you can even like pepper in there. With all these injuries, guys, there's definitely holes in teams. So one key call out, and it reminds me of a guy in one of our leagues, john I'm not going to say his name by any means, but he has so many good players on his bench.

Speaker 2:

Now is the time to where you don't need as much depth, right, you need to start letting go of some of the depth packaging that together and to get some superstars, because now's the stretch. Within these next three weeks, you're making the push to get into the playoffs, and then you three weeks and you're super bowl, right, and so this is when you need to start packaging up. So maybe it is John, a Jerome Ford and a tank Dell for a Tony Pollard that's beautiful, I would take that, and I would take it on either side, and so I really think that's a great call out. Man is to really be paying attention to these matchups especially. But don't be afraid to deplete some of your bench to get some stars for your setup, for the for the long haul.

Speaker 1:

Agree, man, I would trade Josh Jacobs straight up for Tony Pollard, would you? I would, based on schedules especially. You know Josh Jacobs is looking at the Jets, miami, kansas City then a buy, that's key. He plays Kansas City twice in the next four weeks. You know good defenses.

Speaker 1:

So look at matchups, look at a buy. Do you not want to? I mean you could do an even trade just because the guy has a buy coming up and you don't want to deal with that, right, right, you trade for a guy who's already had his buy. I mean that stuff makes a difference. Every win from here on out in these next four weeks that we've got until the playoff start is important. We all know how tight our leagues are, man. You get in that middle range where those guys that are about 500, that are fighting for those last couple of spots of the playoffs it's every single point is important at this point. All right, frank, let's look at another buy candidate here. I've got de hop on here, man, I know you're you're a big de hop guy, but what do you think about buying de hop for the rest of the season?

Speaker 2:

I think if you're not targeting de hop, you're crazy. I did. The reason why I say that is because, with the emergence of Will Leviss, he's looking to sling the ball. Now a good comparison for me to Will Leviss is James Winston. James Winston is going to throw that 50, 50 ball Right.

Speaker 2:

We saw it in Tampa, I think in one year he had like there's something crazy, 30 touchdowns and 30 picks or something along those lines. That's Will Leviss, which means that's good news for de hop. So now de hops going to be able. It's not going to be the dink and dunks from Tana Hill, it's going to be hey man, run a 40 yard, you know go route, or a you know 35 yard corner route, and I'm going to throw you up the ball and go up and get it. And so that's why I love this. And now the fact that they didn't trade Derek Henry also takes a lot of pressure off of de hop. So now you have a quarterback willing to throw the ball. Now you still have Derek Henry, and they're not completely out of the race of the playoffs either. And so this is really interesting. And, john, when we start looking at schedules, you're looking at I mean Tampa Bay coming up Jacksonville, carolina, indy, miami, houston and Seattle. That's fantastic. Guys definitely try to be targeting the hop at this point time.

Speaker 1:

Playoff schedule. They've got Houston twice during your playoffs. Gold, yeah, I mean, yes, and they're playing well and we love Houston, but you can throw in that defense. I mean there's no question about it, yeah, yeah. So buy DHOP man. Another buy candidate here we've got Rishi Rice.

Speaker 1:

I think now's a great time to buy Rishi Rice. I don't think you have to pay a lot for him. It's very likely that Rishi Rice has been sitting on the person's bench the entire season, yeah, but I think this is the time he's on a buy this week so it can help play. You know they'll be way more willing to trade him because they've got a guy they haven't used on their bench who's on a buy. Try to buy him. See what you can get, see if you can get him really cheap. Yeah, buy him low. Yeah, because this guy who has serious potential to be a league winner, he's really developing a chemistry with Patrick Mahomes. And the reason that's so important is because it's goddamn Patrick Mahomes. He's not building chemistry with, you know, taysom Hill. You know he's not building chemistry with fucking Brett Rippon or Tommy DeVito. Yeah, it's Patrick Mahomes. So if they do get dialed in and this final stretch of the fantasy season. He could be a guy. It could be a surprise league winner for you. So I would trade low on him.

Speaker 1:

Let's look at a couple guys to sell here Frank and I know this one's going to hurt your soul because he was the start of the week for you this week and Ohio State guy. But listen, this is not because I don't like this guy. I love this guy. I'm super proud of this guy. It's CJ Stroud. I think he's a sell high candidate right now.

Speaker 1:

The reason I'm saying that is chances are he's not. You didn't draft him to be your starting quarterback. Chances are you're not using him as your starting quarterback. You've probably got another guy that you're using with him. If you don't need CJ Stroud, sell him now. If you've got him and another quarterback, trade the other quarterback and start CJ Stroud. But the point is is if you're sitting on two quarterbacks and one of them's him, trade him, get value for him. There is no higher value than a 50 point goddamn game that he put up. Good schedule, moving forward, trade for him Now. If you're in a super flex and you've got CJ Stroud as your QB2, congratulations. You're about to have a beautiful end to your season. But what do you think about trading off CJ Stroud here? It's just to be greedy man, it's just to get something out of a valuable asset that you have that you may not necessarily need.

Speaker 2:

So a real example of this would actually be if you drafted Joe Burrow in the third round.

Speaker 2:

Another live example of this is if you drafted Lamar Jackson in the second round and maybe towards the tail end.

Speaker 2:

You're an Ohio State fan and you picked up CJ Stroud in one of the last rounds and so and I'm going back to the draft, or maybe you picked him up off the waiver.

Speaker 2:

What we're saying is is you can get so much value right now for CJ Stroud, knowing that you already have maybe another heavy hitter Maybe it's a Jared Goff even, right and you can anchor on Jared Goff but then now you're flipping a CJ Stroud at his peak to maybe get a and package that together with maybe another running back and maybe target a Tony Pollard, right, or something along those lines. And so, yeah, man, I absolutely agree with this. If it is a single quarterback league, if it is a super flex like what you mentioned, sit, do not sell, enjoy, because you will not be able to find another piece like that, even in a trade at this point in time. In my personal opinion, and if you do still look to trade him in a super flex, maybe you're able to get another quarterback of lesser value and maybe a flex piece or something like that that you can start right away. But guys, for me, love selling him in a one quarterback league, much more hesitant selling him in a two quarterback league.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, another guy I want to talk about selling is Gus Edwards. You know if you can get something out of him as well. Guys, he had five touches and he scored. He had a great game. He was unbelievable on those five touches. But Gus Edwards is not Devon HN.

Speaker 1:

Okay, this is not the same thing. We've seen a lot of Gus Edwards and he needs to have volume. He's not going to get it in this offense without injuries happening. It's a three headed monster now and you have no idea what's going to happen. Maybe somebody sees the points over the past couple of weeks for Gus Edwards and, you know, start salivating or just needs an extra piece. Maybe you can get a Rishi Rice for Gus Edwards. I would do that in a heartbeat, but try to move him if you can. You may be in trouble running backs or tough. I know to sell running backs right now seems very difficult, but if you can do it, get a piece out of it Real quick.

Speaker 1:

Frank, let's touch base on the last guy here. I want to see if you agree with me on this one, but I've got a sell right now for Jordan Addison and, yes, a lot of that is. You know, fear of when Justin Jefferson comes back, is there going to be enough volume? Is Josh Dobbs going to be able to support two fantasy wide receivers? I don't know. We haven't seen that yet. We've seen him support and do very well in Arizona with Marquise Brown. Totally, definitely, but can he support two guys with a good running game? I don't know. I don't know, and I think now you can get the most value out of Addison before he comes back. He's still going to get another game or two without Jefferson. I think now or next week is really the right time to try to trade him. Do you agree?

Speaker 2:

Yeah. So if I have Addison guys, I'm definitely, I'm definitely trading him with the news, just with Jefferson's out of the window. Right, he's really looking, really looking good. Right, he's not 100% yet, but he's definitely going to get there. Vikings have definitely are not out of the playoff on either, because that was the other big thing, like JJ could have sat out the rest of the year. Right, kirk Cousins goes down. Now they're losing games. They're actually winning. It almost is because of Kirk. It's like they want to win for Kirk.

Speaker 2:

And so now you've got Josh Dobbs coming in, which is a huge increase over Jaren Hall. So for me, man, I absolutely agree, because if you look to sell him, you can sell him very high, in my personal opinion. Right now you can get another serious ass piece, whether it's a running bag or whether it's you know another receiver or Rashid Rice, and then another piece that you might be looking to target, and then the person that's buying him right, probably feels pretty good, because they're looking at him maybe as a flex, or maybe they're looking at him as just that next guy up right, in case something happens for a buy week or whatever it may be. So you could even look at this. John, too, is a buy low, in a sense, for your team, depending on your construction, but for me, man, I love the call on selling him. Sell him high. The dude is still going to perform. He's going to name value right now, as it is based on what he's done over the past few weeks, with the uncertainty, with that of Josh Dobbs, I love it.

Speaker 1:

You could potentially look at making an offer to the Justin Jefferson owner as well. Totally, that's a brilliant idea as well. And you say you know what? Jj's coming back slow. He even said he doesn't know, there's no timetable, which means it's not this week and it's probably not next week. So this guy could use a little insurance. Not only that, when you're trying to make this trade to the Justin Jefferson owner, I mean let him know Hamstring injuries.

Speaker 1:

Some of these guys that have had hamstrings, they re-injure them, man, and they end up missing weeks again after that. So having that insurance policy of Addison, justin Case, justin Jefferson doesn't play or gets re-injured that's big. So make that call, see what you can do with that. Love that, all right, everyone Love it. Great job today, frankie. Love your insight. Man. You're an absolute beautiful man with your rose gold. It's so sexy. Yeah, look at that. Look at that.
