Speaker 1:

Hey guys, merry Christmas, happy Holidays and welcome to Super Bowl Week, final week of your fantasy football season. We're going to go through every single game today. We're going to do the full slate of games and give you starts and sits from each one. So come on, in, the water's nice, let's go, all right, all right, all right, welcome to the show. This is the Frankly Fantasy Football Podcast. We are your hosts, frankie and Johnny. Happy holidays, brother, we brother, we got our. Well, you got the elf shirt on, I got a stupid little santa sweater on. Let's go, baby. It's christmas week. How you feeling, man?

Speaker 2:

I'm feeling merry. Let me tell you I'm feeling merry. I got the happy christmas vibes happening, john, and I'm feeling really good. I'll tell you why. Because that trophy that we brought up last week well, I'm still fighting for that championship. Baby, I'm back in the Super Bowl. The shit runs through me. So, yeah, let's go, man, but in the other league I might have fallen off, but we're not going to focus on that.

Speaker 1:

That's right. Hey, just shout that out. Very interesting. Now we're recording this on Monday, so we haven't had the games play yet. This is coming out on Christmas Eve, so Merry Christmas to everybody. My brother, sean all right, we've joked about him all the time. That he's got a good team, he dominates all season and then the very first week of the playoffs he blows it. This year he's going to do something in our two friends and family leagues that I don't think anybody's ever done before. Frankie, it's looking like barring some crazy shit tonight on Monday Night Football he is going to be in the Super Bowl in both of those leagues. He's got a chance to have two of those goddamn trophies on his mantle.

Speaker 2:

Look at that. Good luck to you, brother Johnny, he went from, and guys, for those of you that know, usually in years past loser of the league used to have to get a nice little thing that may dangle like this back and forth and we'd stick it on the windshield and you'd have to drive around town. Sean was known for that third leg kind of hanging off that back you know windshield wiper there for a few years riding around Fort Wayne, indiana. And boy has he turned that around. Instead of that he's got potentially two big-ass trophies coming his way. So shout-.

Speaker 1:

Shawnee, hickey boy. Good luck to you, brother. Good luck, man. All right, all right, guys, this is your Super Bowl week. Okay, we've got you covered here. Here's what we're going to do A little different format for today, because just giving you a couple of starts and sits probably not going to help you, because you're looking at more information.

Speaker 1:

You've got your Super Bowl team. This is the only week that matters now. So here's what we're going to do. We're going to roll right through the full slate of games, starting with Christmas Day. We've got games, frankie, on Wednesday, thursday, saturday, sunday and Monday this week. What in the hell is good? Why do you want our families to hate us? Roger Goodell, that's all. We can't watch as many games this week during the holidays. Come on, man, that's terrible. It's terrible, frankie. Let's get right into it, man. Let's start with Christmas day. We've got two games on Netflix on Christmas day. Let's start off with the one o'clock game here, frankie, we've got the 14-1 Kansas City Chiefs at the 10-5 Pittsburgh Steelers. What a great Christmas Day game.

Speaker 1:

All right, now let's talk about fantasy. What I do want to say? This game is going to be a little rough for fantasy, frankie. Yeah, we got two great defenses here. Let's start with the Chiefs. Okay, short week for the Chiefs. We're going to start with these guys. I think you're firing up Patrick Mahomes, but I'm really worried about the rest of the team. What are we doing, frankie, here with the Chiefs offense?

Speaker 2:

John, I agree I'm real worried about the rest of the team With these two defenses. They are stout, they're tough, especially when you're playing in cold weather. Yes, both of them do play in cold weather, so they're used to it, but it is still tough. I mean, when we're talking about the Steelers fighting for they have a lot to fight for guys Fighting for the division, especially against that of Baltimore, things like that this is a must win honestly for both teams, especially if the Chiefs want that first overall seed. So what does that mean? You mentioned it. You're firing up Patrick Mahomes. You've rolled with him all year. You're probably going to need to do it again.

Speaker 2:

But, john, outside of that, I'm not starting any of the running backs. Actually, on both sides of the fence here, I don't think it's a good match if you can look elsewhere. But specifically talking about the Chiefs, john, we mentioned it last week. One of the things that made me nervous specifically actually why he was one of my sits was Isaiah Pacheco, and it's because of some of the things that Kareem Hunt's been doing. He's not going away. Pacheco isn't fully taking the reins and so for me, going against a team that's already been very good against the run. I don't like this. I don't like it at all. So the only thing that I can look to, john, I'm firing up Kelsey. I think you got to fire up Kelsey, you got him, you're starting him.

Speaker 2:

Here's the other thing when you look at D-hop and you look at Hollywood Brown, do you start them? And the answer is if you have them in a 14-man double flex, 12-man double flex, maybe a three-receiver, one flex, something like that, there is potential validity there, including Hollywood Brown Eight targets, five receptions, 40 plus yards in his first game, back John, I mean that's pretty damn good, but it's not a great start. Neither D-hop or that of Hollywood Brown is a good start.

Speaker 1:

I agree with you with the running backs. I mean, just looking at this, kareem Hunt and Pacheco it was almost a 50-50 split. Kareem Hunt was on the field a little more, though, and Pacheco it was almost a 50-50 split. Kareem Hunt was on the field a little more, though. Kareem Hunt had 11 carries for 55 and a touchdown. Pacheco had nine carries for 26. Only one catch for Pacheco, two catches for Kareem Hunt.

Speaker 1:

This is really one of those situations, guys. If you have to start one of these guys as an RB2 because you have no other option, you can do that, but you're not going to know who's going to get what here. It is nearly 50-50. Like we said last week, they're managing reps for these guys. They've got three games in 11 days.

Speaker 1:

I just don't think you can do it against the Pittsburgh Steelers. Look elsewhere for the running backs. All right, pittsburgh, let's get to Pittsburgh. What are we doing here? We're holding off on the running backs for now. I think it's the same situation. You got Jalen Warren now very involved. I don't think you can plan on who's going to get what in this game. It's going to be a tough road to go. You're hoping somebody catches a swing pass out of the backfield gets a lucky touchdown. I don't want to bet on that for my Super Bowl. If you have to do it, you got to do it, but if you've got other options shallower leagues I would try to sit the running backs on both of these teams. Pittsburgh is there anybody else you can start here? Pickens may end up playing. Things are looking pretty good that he could play. Is he the only one you play on this team, john? He?

Speaker 2:

could be. He could be, and maybe you look to Friermuth as well. Friermuth, outside last week, has been pretty damn good for the three weeks prior. But maybe I mean Pickens, what he does for this offense, john and they are desperately craving it is, it stretches the field. Yes, calvin Austin has done probably the best of what he could do so far. I mean really he's done a good job. But it's not Pickens, it's not anybody that the defense is really fearing from that point. And so for me, man, absolutely I think it's Pickens number one, maybe maybe Friar Muth, but honestly, man, I'm even staying away from Russ this week as well.

Speaker 1:

Let's move on to the second game here. We've got going on on Christmas Day 4.30 pm. We've got the 10-5 Baltimore Ravens at the 9-6 Houston Texans. All right, big news out of this Tank Dell, my sit of the week. My friend Tank, I'm so sorry I made you my sit of the week. You did end up having a boom game, caught the touchdown with a devastating knee injury. This one was brutal man. But Tank Dell guys, if you're in a dynasty league here, I don't see Tank Dell playing in 2025 either. Just the timing of this injury. It's going to be multiple surgeries, very similar to what Nick Chubb went through. I don't think you're going to see him at all here, all right, so let's talk about some fantasy here, frankie. Let's start with the Texans. We've got CJ Shroud. You got to fire him up against this Ravens defensive backfield. Obviously you've got Nico Collins. He's a must-start. Joe Mixon a must-start as well. What else can we look to on this Texans offense to help us out with fantasy here?

Speaker 2:

John, I think the biggest guy outside of the ones that you mentioned is Dalton Schultz. Schultz, he has got to be fired up. When we talk about tight ends and you talk about even Travis Kelsey, and you're talking about that of Pat Fryermuth, john, I'm going to take a hot take here. I would even lean towards Dalton Schultz over both of them. The reason being is because when opportunity is what you mentioned meets talent, this is what happens, and when there is opportunity available due to Tank Dell being out, due to the Ravens being so bad in their secondary and giving up top three most fantasy points to receivers and things of that nature, it just creates this environment for Dalton Schultz to really thrive. So for me, man outside of Joe Mixon, outside of that of Nico Collins and CJ Stroud, I am firing up Dalton Schultz.

Speaker 1:

Get him locked and loaded Any other receivers. If you're in a deep, deep league here, anybody else do you think John Mechie can step up in that Tankdale role if you had to start somebody and maybe a flyer with a boom bus type of player?

Speaker 2:

John for me. No, I'm not willing to go through the Super Bowl and put out a guy like that, even though the matchup is great, even though things like that happen for me, I would need to look elsewhere. I would try to go for obviously this is easy to say this but a Jameson Williams or somebody to wear really, really, really, really, really high ceiling, right, maybe even I might even lean towards that of a Hollywood Brown, ever so slightly over that of John Menchie, et cetera. There is one call out though and you're not firing them up, but I would be remiss if we don't say it there might be a little bit of a battle here, with Deontay Johnson now signing with the Houston Texans, john against his former team, to where he had maybe what three receptions, his entirety being there. So you're not playing, deontay. I want to level set all expectation, but it will be fun to see unbelievable.

Speaker 1:

What a shit show that is. No, do not start Deontay Johnson. He's going to be on the team for two days before they play. No chance he's going to be able to play here. All right, let's look at the Ravens. Frankie, obviously you've got to just monster with Lamar and monster with Derrick Henry. What else do you want to do with the Ravens? Offense here at the Texans.

Speaker 2:

Guys, if Zay Flowers is healthy and playing, you're firing up Zay Flowers. I know he did not practice on Sunday, but it could just be resting, especially with his banged up shoulder. Guys, he more than likely will play. You're firing him up. The other one, the other guy, is the guy who has scored four touchdowns in four weeks, three touchdowns in the last two weeks, and no, I'm not talking about Derrick Henry, I'm talking about Rashad Bateman.

Speaker 2:

John, against the Texans and yes, they have a good defense, I understand, but this could end up being a high-scoring game. And what Bateman has shown. Guys, if you're in a 14-man, 16-man or 12-man league, as I mentioned, with deeper formats, this could be an interesting start. Shout-out to my brother Started him two weeks ago and kicked my ass out of the playoffs because of that performance, and what a start. Then he comes back and scores again this past week. Guys, this is another opportunity for Bateman to continue climbing that ladder. Don't forget he was a number one or a first round draft pick when he was coming out of college from Minnesota, and now we could be seeing some guy kind of flourishing coming into his own. We'll have to wait and see. But, john, I would be checking out Rashad Bateman if you're in deeper leagues.

Speaker 1:

But, john, I would be checking out Rashad Bateman if you're in deeper leagues, I agree. And other news here on this team Justice Hill running back for the Ravens in concussion protocol. You will not see him on Christmas Day here, so you're going to get a big dose of Derrick Henry. Baby the Yeti, the weather's cold, he's going to come out, he's ready to go. Man, it's going to be a beautiful thing to see. All right, let's get to the next game here. We've got a Thursday game let's go Every day. But Friday, baby, let's go Every day. But Friday, Come on Thursday game. Thursday night football on Prime Video We've got the 8-7 Seattle Seahawks at the 4-11 Chicago Bears.

Speaker 1:

All right, some news on this one guys. Kenneth Walker I know he's been rough for you in your playoffs. He's probably going to be out. Monitor the status of Kenneth Walker. It's too difficult right now, with Christmas Day games and then Thursday games today being Monday to get a lot of status on these guys. Most of these guys are probably not going to practice that much this week. Anyway, pay attention. Likely, Kenneth Walker to be out. That brings up Charbonnet. Baby, You're going to get a nice cool glass of Charbonnet against these Bears, man.

Speaker 2:

Ooh, the coolest the freshest, crispiest glass of that Charbonnet that I'm looking for, baby.

Speaker 1:

All right, what else are we doing with the Seahawks here man? Very interesting team this week. Gino was banged up, but he did end up playing.

Speaker 2:

So what are we going to do with the Seahawks team? Who do you want to play, john? For me, there is one guy that is standing above the rest and it is not DK Metcalf. It is going to be Jackson Smith and Jigba. I'm talking about the number seven receiver right now in full PPR in fantasy football. Guys, what we're seeing from Jackson Smith and Jigba is nothing short of incredible. Just to give you guys some insight, over the last I mean, I'm just gonna say it the last one, two, three, four, six weeks six weeks he hasn't had less than 74 yards receiving. In addition to that, he's had three of those six weeks being over 11 targets and three of those weeks over eight receptions. John, this dude, is tearing up. He also has three touchdowns in six weeks.

Speaker 2:

Here's what's going to happen. We're going to have Jalen Johnson covering that of DK Metcalf. They're going to do everything they possibly can to take him out of the game. It's going to leave Charbonnet against that of Montez Sweat and a bunch of others on the defensive front who are pretty stout. Even though I do think you fire up Charbonnet, I'm still saying Charbonnet now, charbonnet from the receiving perspective. But John, jackson Smith and Jigba could be massive this week, just as he's been in the last four, five, six weeks. Guys 25 points, 18 points, 19 points, 11 points, 20 points and 24. You're firing up JSN baby. What about Decaf?

Speaker 1:

Or Decaf, decaf, decaf.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, that's actually how he's playing right now.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, a little Decaf and a little Chardonnay. Dk Metcalf are you playing him, though? I mean we're talking three catches the last two weeks, four catches in each of the last three games prior to that. He weeks four catches in each of the last three games. Prior to that. He hasn't had more than four catches since week 11. This is his first touchdown he had this past week since week seven. I mean, is he a touchdown or bust kind of guy right now? Is that what we're looking at?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, at this point it is, unfortunately, and he's doing a lot of cardio out there and, honestly, he's being a huge decoy at this point. So, yeah, john, I mean, when we talk about do you start them, do you not start them, guys, it really comes down to the injuries on your team. And what is your team comprised of, right? If you're looking at it, between DK Metcalf and DeAndre Hopkins or somebody like that, you got to go DK, right. Or if you're looking at DK Metcalf and maybe that of like a T Higgins or somebody like that, I think it's pretty easy, it's going to be T Higgins, right.

Speaker 2:

If you're looking, though, a good one, a good comp, would actually be as right now as it says, dk Metcalf and Malik neighbors, and I keep going back to that over the last few weeks because I truly think that's where both of these guys are, even though Malik neighbors has a higher ceiling because of the targets that he's getting in the receptions that he's getting. But Malik neighbors hasn't done very much outside of, you know, two games ago really, and it's been tough. So for me, man, I think it really depends on your team. If I'm in a deeper league, I'm leaning towards starting DK this week, If I am in an eight to 10 man league, I would really take a hard look at your team and see is there an option elsewhere?

Speaker 2:

Maybe do you go something crazy and say maybe I'm going to start McMillan, and that could be tough to do. I get it, but right now what we're seeing is where opportunity meets talent on the team and the defenses that they're playing against. Right now I don't know if I want to be rolling out DK Metcalf while Jalen Johnson is over top of them as well. So it's tough man. So I'm going to leave it up to the owners of their teams, but be wary.

Speaker 1:

What about Geno Smith? How do you feel about him at Chicago?

Speaker 2:

Here's the deal. I think at Chicago it's a tough game. I would lean towards not starting Geno Smith guys Just because he's a little bit banged up. I think they're going to rely on Charbonnet a bit. Yes, they're going to get JSN involved and others, but I mean this isn't necessarily a team that could be or a game that could be. Game script positive.

Speaker 2:

I mean Caleb Williams in the Bears offense, john, has been really interesting Some weeks. They're flying high, and usually, though, it's because they're catching up right If a team's way ahead, they're throwing the ball 100 times and they're trying to figure it out right. But in this type of game, in this type of weather right, you've got to factor all that in, especially them playing on the lake it. This type of weather right, you got to factor all that in, especially them playing on the lake it brings a different element to the game. So for me, I would be looking elsewhere than Geno Smith. I'd be looking at Bo Nix, I would be looking at, you know, some of these other guys. We'll mention a few others coming up here, but I think that there's better options potentially out there.

Speaker 1:

All right, let's shift to the Bears here. Man, this is such a difficult team to figure out who to start, who to sit on a week-to-week basis, but we've got some guys that are emerging here. All right, on this Bears offense, what are we doing? Let's look at the receivers specifically. What are we doing with the receivers for the Bears?

Speaker 2:

John, two of them Fire them up. Don't even think twice about it. Dj Moore, keenan Allen lock and load. Doesn't matter what style league you're in. You're in, you're firing them both up.

Speaker 1:

Okay, a little too cute to play Roman Dunzay. Too cute guys, I mean, at this point it's your Super Bowl.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, it's your Super Bowl. This isn't getting into the playoffs. This is your Super Bowl. Don't anchor it on Rome.

Speaker 1:

Okay, DeAndre Swift. This is the difficult one to pick right here, man. Seattle Seahawks you can run on. Bears do have a good defense. This could be a very competitive game in the cold in Chicago. It just feels to me like you've got to play DeAndre Swift. It feels like it's going to be a DeAndre Swift game. Am I wrong, John?

Speaker 2:

you're not wrong. It's so hard. You're right, though. It's so hard because since week 12, or, excuse me, yes, since week 12, he hasn't had double-digit points in full PPR yet. Now. What's interesting, though, is he's definitely getting the rock.

Speaker 2:

So, outside of last week, he had nine touches for 20 rushes, but he did get three targets for three receptions for 30-plus yards. And then, the week prior to that, in week 15 against Minnesota, which is a horrible matchup for running backs, he had 19 rushes for 79 yards. He was averaging 4.16 yards a carry. He still got one target, one catch out of the backfield. So it's really tough, john, but before that, spend 30 yards, 38 yards, 39 yards rushing.

Speaker 2:

So, yes, as much as you can rush against Seattle, for me it's really tough. Guys, if you can go with a Bucky Irving, you're going to go with a Bucky Irving. If you're going to go with, if JK Dobbins plays, which we'll talk about here in a second, I'm rolling out JK Dobbins over that of DeAndre Swift. If you don't have that option, john, I'm starting him, I think, because he's an RB2, he's going to give you a floor of roughly about nine points, eight points, which is kind of it sucks, but it's not going to put you completely out of a loss. You know what I mean, something like that. So I think he gives you just enough floor to be okay. The issue is there's very little ceiling that we've seen over the last five weeks.

Speaker 1:

All right, let's move on to the next game. Here we're going to saturday. It is one o'clock. We've got the chargers, the nine and six chargers at the three and twelve patriots. Patriots gave a little scare last week. Man, we thought holy shit, what is happening here? All right, let's start with the chargers. Very interesting team. What are we doing with this offense? Jk Dobbins potential to return how are you feeling about that?

Speaker 2:

Fire him up. If he plays, you fire him up. This offense runs through a running back. They start with the running back. If he is playing, he is a grand slam start in my eyes.

Speaker 1:

All right. What about the passing game here for the Chargers? Justin Herbert playing very well. Yeah, you've got Ladd-McConkie back and strong you starting both of these guys up.

Speaker 2:

No question, fire them up, guys. This is a must win Again. This is a must win game for the Chargers to get them into the playoffs. Justin Herbert is playing some of the best ball we've seen in his career. In all honesty, especially with the weapons around him, the way he's elevating this team is just incredible. Vlad Mikonke is a route-running machine. You could even make an argument for Quentin Johnston. I know I got a lot of slack for Stonehands. Shout out to you guys on YouTube saying a lot of shit. I appreciate it, bring it on. But there is opportunity for Quentin Johnston each week in deeper formats. It's just because of Justin Herbert throwing the ball. He's going to drop four passes, but he might catch a 49-yard touchdown bomb, right. So there is opportunity there. I'd put him on par, maybe a smidge around that of Rashad Bateman. John, I think that's where I kind of stack ranked out of Quentin Johnston, but for me, guys, it's really three. It's Laddie, it's that of Justin Herbert and you're rolling with JK if he's playing.

Speaker 1:

All right, let's go to the Patriots here. This shouldn't take too much time here. Thank you, ramondre Stevenson, for screwing my sit of the week and sitting you down last week. He did have to get in the end zone, of course. He had 12 carries, 60 yards and a touchdown. Um, is remandre really the only person to even look at and do you feel good about remandre against this stout chargers defense?

Speaker 2:

no, I don't feel good about remandre and, yes, he's the only guy I'm willing to start from this offense. I don't think you can go, you know, k sean booty, or, uh, I don't think you can go to mario douglas. I don't think you can go, you know, kayshaun Booty, or I don't think you can go, demario Douglas. I don't think you can even go Hunter Henry, really, and feel that great about it. Guys, I think it truly is that of you know, ramondre, and kind of leave it at that.

Speaker 1:

Okay, All right, let's move on here. Saturday 4.30 game. We've got the nine and six Denver Broncos at the seven and eight Cincinnati Bengals. This game these guys are going to play like the world depends on it right now. They both are in must-win situations for the wild card in the AFC. Both teams very well coached, Both teams playing really, really well right now. All right, let's start with the Broncos man. As far as I'm concerned, it's a must-start stack for me, for Bo Nix and Cortland Sutton. I think these guys have to be played. What else are you looking at on this Broncos offense?

Speaker 2:

Nothing, nothing, john. I'm not willing to start another soul on this offense outside of those two. The running backs are terrible, just terrible.

Speaker 1:

Even in a three-headed pony. Yeah, no way.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, a three-headed. What did we say last week? A three-headed ass, a three-headed donkey? Yeah, that's what it's like is because you don't, you truly have no idea what's going on, and all of them are underperforming significantly, even in a good matchup. This is not anywhere that I'm willing to put. Put, you know, my money on for them to perform in your Super Bowl. Don't do it, sutton and Nix. Lock it in.

Speaker 1:

All right Now let's look at the Bengals here. Man, there's a lot of fantasy options here on this team. Burrow Chase playing out of their goddamn minds right now. Tee Higgins at this point is a must start Done. Yeah, Talk to me a little bit about some of the secondary options here and Chase Brown.

Speaker 2:

John, I think Chase Brown is a must start. I think that, even though the matchup sucks for honestly all the way around, when you're when we were talking about the Broncos, it's a dream matchup for Joe, for Joe, mix for Bo Nix and that of a Sutton Corlin Sutton for the opposite end, for Jamar chase, t Higgins and chase Brown. This is not a great matchup, but the difference is how well they're playing. I mean, it is Joe Burrow. Honestly, man, if he had a better defense and a better offensive line, he'd be MVP in my eyes, and I don't think it's really that close, even over what Josh Allen and Lamar are doing. I just think he's been unbelievable.

Speaker 2:

Jamar Chase, I mean, is he chasing a triple crown or what? The dude is? Nuts, absolutely nuts. And get ready to roll out the Brinks truck because you're going to be offering it to him. And then you got Tee Higgins man, tee Higgins on top of this. Even though a tough matchup, john absolutely is fighting for his life for that next contract. Where are we going to see Tee Higgins next year? Is it going to be the Raiders? Are we going to see him at the Giants? Maybe with Malik Nabors? Are we going to see him in a completely different scenario to where nobody's really thinking about Potentially and actually the answer is probably yes. The other person that you mentioned is Chase Brown. John, he is a must-start what he is doing, not even just on the ground, but it's the pass, catching out of the backfield, that is really aiding to his fantasy production. The backfield that is really aiding to his fantasy production and Joe Burrow's seeing it, using it and loving it. Fire those guys up, man, and enjoy one hell of a game at 430.

Speaker 1:

All right, we got another Saturday night game 8-15 game on Saturday. The 7-8 Arizona Cardinals at the 9-6 Los Angeles Rams. Okay, here we go. Now we got some news here. James Conner banged up, doesn't look like he's going to go Very, very scary here. This is Saturday night. You are going to have to plan ahead here, guys. This is going to be tough. We've got games on Wednesday. We've got games on Thursday. We've got three games on Saturday. Pay attention these injuries. Do not let them sneak up on you All of a sudden. You didn't make backup plans for somebody like James Conner and you're going to be sitting there having to start somebody you don't want to start. James Conner, unlikely to play this Saturday, has been hurt. He may be looking at being able to play this week. Trey Benson and Michael Carter Jr of Jets fame Remember that guy? Oh yeah, can you play either of these guys against the Rams?

Speaker 2:

John, if you play. I mean what a risk. That's all I'm saying. I mean I wouldn't play Trey Benson just because he's been banged up. No chance, michael Carter Jr. Guys, if you're willing to roll out Michael Carter Jr, go ahead. I am not. This is not something I'm even remotely entertaining. And even if he could have a big game we've seen Michael Carter Jr do well out of pass, catching out of the backfield for the Jets and having a couple of big games for me it's just not somebody I'm willing to roll out.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, it's a break glass. In case of emergency situation, you know you've lost your RB2 and you've got no other options. Pick up Michael Carter and hope for the best. But yeah, this is not something you want to plan for for sure. All right, on the Cardinals, what else we've got Could be a decent stack this week with Kyler Murray and Marv Marvin Harrison Jr. What do you think about that?

Speaker 2:

Could be. Could be because this is a game that I mean, it's a divisional game. Both these teams hate each other. They're really vying for, you know, trying to win the NFC West. I mean, at this point the Cardinals are out, so they're just playing spoiler with their loss to Carolina. So for me, man, you could start Marv and that of Kyler. I actually would probably err on the side of. I'm not willing to to do that Just because I haven't seen a lot from them the last few weeks.

Speaker 2:

The Cardinals, for me, man and I'm going to get my soapbox for a second but they've been one of the worst teams all year in terms of performance. Outside of James Conner, they've highly underperformed. Whether it be the connection from Kyler to Marv, whether it be Kyler, there's rumors going around that he's specifically not targeting McBride in certain instances. So I don't know if that's just hearsay. I don't know if that's just the internet trying to make shit up and pit people together, which we never see. Of course not. We never see that. No, no, never. But for me, man, as a team, overall they've just been really disappointing. And I think that the Rams, even though they're barely winning games and they're sneaking by and they're figuring it out. Even with Matt Stafford underperforming, I just think that the Rams should probably put this one home. So for me, I don't even know, john, if I'm willing to start the stack this week.

Speaker 1:

Okay, troy McBride, you got to throw him out there.

Speaker 2:

Got to fire him up.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, he had a rough game last week. Three for four for 20 yards that's not the norm for him. He's a guy you got to play at tight end. Let's talk about the Rams a little bit here. Man, this team scares the shit out of me in your Super Bowl. We've seen Cooper Cup took us out of the playoffs you and I and our team that we share with zero catch game. What are you doing with these guys? This week, puka not getting in the ends. On this past week, matt stafford killed a lot of people this week.

Speaker 2:

What do you do now? Do you play this trio of matt stafford, puka and cooper cop john in a one quarterback league? You do not star matt stafford. I don't think you can risk it guys. I've had matt stafford all year in a two-quarterback lead. It has been miserable. It has been so miserable I can't even put it into words. And then you look at us having Cooper Cup John. We were sitting there and I think it was week four or week three and it was right when he got hurt and we were like you know what, he's back. And then he got hurt and he came back and he was back on fire. And now, with the reemergence of Puka, we have seen Cooper Cup drop off the face of the earth pretty much. So guys, think about it like this In my eyes I'm actually willing to start Puka and I don't think it's close. I'm rolling out Puka. I also am entertaining the idea of Tyler Higbee. I think, with Tyler Higbee coming back with the tight end landscape of what it is, I think that Higbee could be. Think, with Tyler Higbee coming back with the tight end landscape of what it is, I think that Higbee could be very interesting in this matchup With Cooper Cup.

Speaker 2:

John, this is a hot take. I don't know if I'm rolling him out there. And guys, I'm saying this for those 8-10 man leagues. I'm not saying this for 12-14. 12-14, you gotta roll him out. You don't have another option, unless you're saying, hey, I'm putting in Hollywood Brown over him, which I wouldn't recommend. I wouldn't recommend it. But for those eight to 10 man leagues, when you're staring at Cooper Cup, or you're staring at Malik Neighbors, or you're staring at Cooper Cup and maybe it's DK Metcalf who we were talking about. Actually, that's a really good, Would you rather? John, let's pause on that for a minute. I'm going to pitch it to you. Who would you rather start in your Superbowl? Dk Metcalf or Cooper cup this week? God, that's so difficult.

Speaker 1:

That's really really tough, one man Um yeah, I mean I. I think I'm going to go. It is tough because you've got the number ones on those teams now, are not these guys Not?

Speaker 2:

those guys.

Speaker 1:

It's JSN and it's Puka Nakua. Yeah, you're right, I do think it's going to be DK Metcalf for me, I think, with Kenneth Walker being out, I do think that you know that team is going to have to throw. I think the quarterback situation feels better to me. I think it's a better matchup as well. But yeah, it's so close, it's so gross. But yeah, I think I'm going to have to go DK Metcalf on that one, just because I think Kyron Williams is going to score all the points in this game and with the Rams.

Speaker 2:

You look for the Rams Since week 13 here when they played against New Orleans. Cooper Cup, solely talking Cooper Cup here Six targets, three receptions, 17 yards. You hate yourself. If you start him, you're hating yourself. Okay, week 14 against Buffalo had a much better week. We were pumped up about this. It was eight targets, five receptions, 92 yards and a tutty. We were pumped up about this. It was eight targets, five receptions, 92 yards and a tutty. We're thinking he's back Boy. Were we wrong? San Francisco goose egg Last week against the Jets, when it was a positive game script for most of the game.

Speaker 2:

This is what the other call out is they needed to score or drive the field and they weren't doing that. And John, he had three targets, the field and they weren't doing that. And John, he had three targets, three targets, three receptions, 24 yards. John, I agree with you. I'm going to lean DK Metcalf here. And guys, I'm just saying I'm just saying in those deeper leagues, I would seriously have a hard time with yourself in this mirror. Have yourself a nice little cup of bourbon, listen and do your favorite Christmas song. You better say a prayer to Santa because, let me tell you, you're going to ask for a big gift, and it would be you starting Cooper Cup and hoping he performs.

Speaker 1:

All right, and Kyron Williams, you're absolutely starting him up. He's been an absolute beast, no brainer. All right, let's get to Sunday man. We're finally at the Sunday games here. Sunday one o'clock here. We've got the 7-8 Indianapolis Colts at the 2-13 New York football Giants. Let's talk a little bit about the Colts here. Frankie, A Rich actually bringing some life back into your teams here. Man, Not playing bad here. What are you doing with A Rich and this Indianapolis Colt offense?

Speaker 2:

I mean, john, this is so ugly. I'll be honest, no-transcript. I'm starting MPJ, I don't think I'm even starting the tight end landscape for them. It just A-Rich, sucks the life out of all these other fantasy players because of his rushing ability, everything I mean, when we look at how many passing attempts did he have last week? Let's go to the data 11 attempts, seven, seven completions on the day, your quarterback, your quarterback. We hit 131 yards, one touchdown and one pick. And, by the way, like what? 50 of that, 60 of that was to Josh Downs on a breakaway. So I mean, john, literally level set expectations If you guys have these receivers and tight ends for that of the Colts, because a rich isn't really he. He's given you coal and he ain't given you presence If you're a receiver.

Speaker 1:

he also had nine carries for 70 yards and a touchdown. I mean it's like starting a running back. Do you think you can expect a similar rushing attack against the giants? I think a rich could have a safe floor.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I really do, John. If we're talking A-Rich and not the others around him, just A-Rich in a vacuum, I'm definitely leaning towards starting him, guys, I mean the floor that he gives you. Let me put it like this I would start A-Rich over Matt Stafford.

Speaker 1:

I was just going to ask you that I was waiting for you to be done so I could say A a rich over Matt Stafford. There you go. All right, I would start a rich over Matt Stafford, all right. I think that tells you everything you need to know. Right there, you cannot start Michael Pittman Jr. He had two catches for 19 yards this past week. You can't do it, I agree with you. It's a Jonathan Taylor show and Josh Downs is out there Still got a touchdown, three for 61 last week. So Josh Downs, a Jonathan Taylor. That's about it for the Colts. All right, let's hop right over to the Giants here. Man, not going to be a ton of options on this one either. Buddy, all right, I mean, we saw. First of all, did you see that toe tap that Tyrone Tracy had in the end?

Speaker 2:

zone Unbelievable.

Speaker 1:

Wow, yeah, that guy has been so much fun this year. What a great rookie performance and just breakout for that guy. Can't wait to talk about him for next year. Are you starting Tyrone Tracy this week against the Colts, if?

Speaker 2:

he is healthy guys. Tyrone Tracy did get a little hurt. This game for an ankle injury is what he's dealing with. If he is able to play, you fire him up. It's not even a question about it. If he can't play, John, I might consider firing up Devin Singletary. I really seriously might consider that, especially in those super deep leagues. Guys, he could be interesting, but only and only if that of Tyrone Tracy doesn't play and John, it's Malik neighbors. Other than that, Outside of that, with Drew Locke at the helm, the team is terrible. They're purposefully tanking. I mean they're getting their quarterback of choice at the end of the draft and whatever at the beginning of the draft, whatever it may be. So for me, man, two guys on the Giants, you got neighbors, you got Tracy, All right, All right, let's move on here.

Speaker 1:

We got the 4-11 New York Jets at the 12-3 Buffalo Bills. All right, a little bit of news about this game here. Both quarterbacks got a little banged up last week. Man, both quarterbacks were in the tent. Last week in the games Josh Allen did not fulfill what you were hoping he was going to fulfill. Last week, first time in six games, he hasn't rushed for a touchdown. Now, apparently, word just came out that he's had a broken hand. Since week one has been playing through it. He did re-aggravate that. He went out, went in the tent, got it, looked at, he came back in. So he's going to play through it. Could it affect his gameplay? Sure, sure, it's a little scary. Aaron Rodgers same deal. He went into the tent, ended up coming out. Out should be fine, but things could get weird. Let's start first with the jets frankie, we've got aaron rogers. We've got the two receivers. We've got breeze hall. What are we doing with this offense? Who do you feel good about in your super bowl?

Speaker 2:

guys, you are the best one that I feel the the best about, no question about it, is devante adams. What we are seeing, devanteontae is back. Aaron Rodgers to Devontae is back. It is there. He's targeting him one-on-one, especially in the red zone often. Devontae almost had three tutties. Last game he ended up with one. Should have had more. It is Devontae Adams and Aaron Rodgers. They are back, john, with that also being said, as crazy as it sounds, I also like Tyler Conklin.

Speaker 2:

I'll get to Garrett Wilson here in a second, but I do like Tyler Conklin from that of a tight end perspective. Knowing the Bills, this could be a crazy weather game. Guys, again, we're recording this on Christmas Eve Eve. Okay, where we are seeing the Bills and Jets play is Sunday the 29th. If that weather flips and all of a sudden it's a huge snow game. Look for Tyler Conklin Right now. He had 10 fantasy points last week alone. He had five receptions on seven targets for 59 yards. Could be interesting for you. And, of course, sean, you're firing up Brees Hall and you're firing up Garrett Wilson. I know I mentioned it in a second. Garrett Wilson, it's just the target share alone. Yes, he's not scoring like we would like to see, but my Lord is his target share great Is his receptions good and his receiving yards is still performing well.

Speaker 1:

Okay, all right, let's talk about the bills here. Man, let's talk about the bills. Man, let's talk about the bills. Uh, josh allen, you're firing him up. Obviously, james cook had been absolutely beautiful for you. This is where things get a little crazy here. What are we doing with the bills receivers? Where the fuck is? Amari cooper is what I was just gonna say that, john.

Speaker 2:

I mean, what happened? What? Where is this guy? I can't, john. Two targets, two targets in a game where you're behind, you're losing. I mean you're not even getting this dude involved. And so for me and I get it Josh Allen was banged up. But when you start looking at some of these other guys and what they're able to do, I mean you look at Khalil Shakur Sure, he only had 4.2 points, but he's getting six targets. You start looking at that of Keon Coleman and now him being back. I mean and I'm pulling it up right now, john, but he ended up having two targets.

Speaker 2:

I mean the Bills receiving core as a whole man has just been kind of rough I mean really has and Amari Cooper specifically. So what do we do? That's the question. I'm sitting Amari Cooper and I'm just going to let that sit for a second. I'm sitting Amari Cooper and I'm just going to let that sit for a second. I'm sitting Amari Cooper, the number one receiver for the Bills Right now. What we're seeing is guys, he's not worth a, he's not even a boom threat on your fantasy team. That's the problem.

Speaker 2:

When you're in your Super Bowl, don't just start somebody because it's showing a 13-point projection. Just start somebody because it's showing a 13 point projection. Like, don't do that. Like go for a McMillan, go for, you know, one of these other guys I mean that we've been talking about and we're going to talk even further Brian Thomas Jr and some of these other cats that you might have on your team that you're looking at like, oh no, amari Cooper's kind of projected more or whatever it may be. No, throw it out the window, because right now you need to focus on your team. And so for me man I'm not starting a Marty Cooper I would entertain Khalil Shakur potentially, potentially, just from sheer target share, but outside of that man, it's James Cook, it's Josh Allen and maybe Khalil Shakur, and that's for me where it starts and ends.

Speaker 1:

I'm with you. I think it's a maybe Khalil Shakur, I mean these guys, yeah, I mean no-transcript. I would not take chances with a Mack Hollins or a Keon Coleman or an Amari Cooper. It's just the consistency has not been there. All right, let's keep moving on here, man.

Speaker 1:

Let's get to the 3-12 Tennessee Titans at the 3-12 Jacksonville Jaguars. All right, you know what? Don't scoff on this game, okay, because when you've got two shit teams playing each other, that can mean a lot of fantasy points here, man, in unusual places. So let's look at some of these unusual places that you may be able to start over. People like Amari Cooper and the likes, all right. So first let's look at the Titans. Here, man, this one's difficult. Okay, let's right.

Speaker 1:

So first let's look at the Titans. Here, man, this one's difficult. Okay, let's look at the running backs Tony Pollard, tajay Spears. Tajay Spears is back. We love Pollard when he's alone in that backfield, but as we've seen, with Tajay Spears back there, it's kind of back to the Jalen, warren, najee Harris situations where you go. I don't know if we can really start any of these guys because of the situation. It's kind of a Pacheco Kareem Hunt situation as well. You got a 50-50 split, you got to hope. You chose the hot hand, and that's just not how it always works. Man, how good do you feel about playing Tony Pollard or Tajay Spears in your Super Bowl? I?

Speaker 2:

mean it's so tough. I mean guys like this is. This is where I'm having more of a struggle with these two, in comparison to Najee and Jalen Warren. I'm struggling with this more than I mean even some of these other the Kareem Hunt, isaiah Pacheco.

Speaker 1:

This is so hard. Do you know why it's hard? I'm going to tell you right now because both of the teams you just said the Kansas City Chiefs are playing the Steelers, the Steelers are playing the Chiefs. These are two top five rush defenses. The problem why it's so confusing now is because you got Pollard and Spears. They're playing at Jacksonville You're not going to have snow or shitty weather and they're playing a terrible, terrible rush defense. You want to play these guys, can you, john?

Speaker 2:

I think you can, and here's what I'm going to say. I think you can and here's what I'm gonna say. I think you can play both realistically. You're not gonna have both, so you're gonna have to make the decision. If you're a pollard owner, you're probably gonna need to still be repping out pollard. You might have had to throw them in your flex. You might be looking at pollard versus that of a like I keep mentioning the same guys, but it's kind of you're getting conceptually what I'm getting at the D hop or that of Pollard. Right, and these are some of the decisions you're needing to make. Um, for me, man, I think you go Pollard just because of the matchup and I think you it's too hard not to. The flip side is, if you got Tajay Spears, you're not looking at him realistically for your RB two slot, you're looking at him for your flex spot and right now, why not roll out a guy who's on fire on fire with Mason Rudolph Guys?

Speaker 2:

Here's what Tajay Spears has done. Well, last week alone, he ran the ball 10 times that's nice For 27 yards. Well, what the fuck are you talking about? Frank, that sucks. Listen to his receiving. He had two. Well, yeah, first off, he had two touchdowns rushing Not Tony Pollard, tajay Spears. And then you look at his receiving he had three catches for 39 yards. And then you look at what he's done in the week prior, john, he had seven targets, six receptions, 87 yards receiving in a touchdown. And again, who are the teams that these guys are playing? It was Indianapolis last week and Cincinnati the week before. Guys, jacksonville is right up there with the same style of defense as both of these teams are. You know what I mean, and so that's why I'm saying we're looking at apples to apples comparisons here with the prior teams that the Titans have just played, based on a defensive scale. Man, I actually think I would consider rolling out each of these guys. It would be hard not to man.

Speaker 1:

When you've got the tough matchups, with two running backs on the Chiefs, two running backs on the Steelers, you've got James Conner going to be missing most likely. You've got Kenneth Walker most likely to be out.

Speaker 2:

I agree.

Speaker 1:

Monty out as well. We've had some running backs go down here over the past few weeks. I feel like if you have to play either of these two in your RB2, I think you're going to be okay. I really do. All right, let's talk about this now. You got Mason Rudolph and Calvin Ridley. I think this is a great start this week for a stack. What do you think?

Speaker 2:

I freaking agree, john, I totally agree and I'm salivating. When you look at what Mason Rudolph did, hey, did we not call this? I just want to say when we, two weeks ago, guys review the tape, check us out. Two weeks ago, when Will Levis they said he was going to get benched, we both started laughing because we were like watch Calvin Ridley skyrocket again. Watch what Mason Rudolph does for this offense.

Speaker 2:

Mason Rudolph is a younger version of Jameis Winston. He's throwing the ball up. He's getting fantasy value from other players. Right, he's providing fantasy points for other teammates, something Will Levis didn't do, because he was just bad. He wasn't even letting the ball rip. When we start looking at what Mason Rudolph has done, man, john, in the last two weeks alone he's thrown both weeks over 200 yards. He has at least two touchdowns in both weeks. And sure he's thrown a few picks, no question, that's what I mean. Right, he's thrown four touchdowns in the last two weeks. He's thrown four picks in the last two weeks, but he's throwing the ball up, giving his receivers a shot. And look at what's happening, john.

Speaker 2:

Hot take here, man, based on the matchups themselves, if you are in a one quarterback league or a super flex league and you have an opportunity here to get Mason Rudolph. I'm starting him over Stafford. I'm starting him over Stafford and it's strictly because I like the floor that Mason Rudolph gives, based on how much they throw the ball. Right, matt Stafford's floor, guys, I've had him all year it's eight points, seven points, three points. Mason Rudolph's floor might actually only be around that 11 to 14 mark because of how often they're throwing the ball. So think about it again, guys. With the matchups here you're playing a 3-12 Jaguar team. In nice weather this could be a gold matchup for Calvin Ridley and Rudolph.

Speaker 1:

Mason Rudolph or Anthony Richardson. Mason Rudolph Ooh, I like that. I like that. Mason Rudolph or Baker Mayfield, I'm going bake.

Speaker 2:

I'm riding the flames with bake baby.

Speaker 1:

You got to go big there, mason Rudolph or Tua Tungavailoa at Cleveland.

Speaker 2:

Come on, come a little closer. Let me tell you a little something here. Baby, I'm rolling with Mason Rudolph because you come to the Brown Stadium in the cold and on the lake I want to say a river. We got a river somewhere over there too. And on the lake I want to say a river. We got a river somewhere over there too, but on that lake that's halfway on fire half the time and you're trying to throw the ball in that cold-ass, windy-ass weather when you're so used to the Miami heat. Guys, it is Mason Rudolph over Tua this week.

Speaker 1:

Here's another one for you that's going to hurt your soul Mason Rudolph or Brock Purdy at home against the Lions. That is so tough, that's a tough one.

Speaker 2:

That's so tough, that's really really tough. Wow, okay, I'm taking Mason.

Speaker 1:

Rudolph, I'm going to take Purdy. Okay, I like that. We should do a little bet Frankie Mason, rudolph versus.

Speaker 2:

Purdy All right, we'll do it.

Speaker 1:

Let's keep track of that. I want to see what happens here, man. All right, let's talk about the Jaguars. This should be very, very easy. Only person I'm even considering is Brian Thomas Jr. Is that it, baby?

Speaker 2:

Starts and ends with Brian Thomas Jr.

Speaker 1:

John, you don't feel good about the running backs here. Tennessee does have a decent rush defense, actually no.

Speaker 2:

Yeah no, for me man no Okay.

Speaker 1:

All right, let's move on. We got another shit-stained game coming up here, guys the 3-12 Las Vegas Raiders at the 5-9 New Orleans Saints. Okay, let's do this. We've got the Raiders, we've got Aiden O'Connell's back. He did play, looks decent. What are we doing on this offense here, man? Is it really just Brock Bowers and Jacoby Myers? Anybody else you can consider? What about the backfield? Talk to me about it.

Speaker 2:

You could look at Madison. You could look at Madison, knowing that McCormick's out for season and Madison, you know he wasn't terrible last week by any means. I think he might even have scored or punched one in there, but you could. But again, in a Super Bowl, guys, I'm not willing to put a flex piece out there. That's going to be Madison. I'm not even looking to put out a running back two piece. That's Madison. We just talked about the Jags, right, and there's nobody else outside of Brian Thomas. If you're comparing Madison to a Tank Bigsby, I'm starting Tank Bigsby. I just don't. I'm just not willing to roll out really Madison from that perspective, knowing that Amir Abdullah is also taking some of that receiving away from him.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, don't be lulled in there by the touchdown, because Amir Abdullah had a touchdown as well, right, but Amir Abdullah seven carries for 38 yards. Alexander Madison 12 carries for 27 yards. That's against Jacksonville last week too, by the way, so this was not against a good rushing defense. So I agree, I don't think you can start him. Stay away from him if you absolutely can here. All right, let's look at the Saints man. What are we doing on the Saints team? We're recording this on Monday, so we apologize, guys, we can't even break down. Is it going to be Kend? Saints team we're recording this on Monday, so we apologize, guys, we can't even break down. Is it going to be Kendra Miller? Is it going to be Jamal Williams? We're not really sure. The game still hasn't played yet. Is Kendra Miller really the only one, assuming he gets the bulk of the carries on Monday Night Football? Is he the only one you can consider here?

Speaker 2:

Yeah, yeah and yes, and guys, you're just going to have to watch the game tonight. It's going to be an awesome game. I'm looking forward to it. The reality is, though, he's probably it. Maybe you could look at Jawan Johnson at a tight end spot, but again, guys, with Spencer Rattler at the helm, it's so hard. He is not a high-performing rookie, so, yeah, man, he would maybe be it.

Speaker 1:

All right, let's move on here. 11 Panthers Carolina Panthers at the 8-7 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. I felt bad for Baker this week, man, he played so goddamn hard that last play too and he just he had guys draped all over him and just flicked the ball out to Rashad White. Rashad White ended up losing the ball, losing the game for him. But all right, what are we doing this week? Let's take a look at the Panthers. A little surprising, they're throwing up some fantasy numbers here as of late. Man Panthers, what are we starting on this offense? This is Super Bowl week. We're not getting too fucking cute here. Guys Play the studs. Who do we got?

Speaker 2:

Two guys Adam Thielen, Chuba Hubbard.

Speaker 1:

That's it, okay. Not much to talk about there, guys. Yeah, mike Evans', watch, he's getting closer. The Mike Evans 69 yards, 69, dude, he's under the 200 mark.

Speaker 2:

He's under the 200 mark, he gets 100 and 100. I mean, this is the game for it.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, now you're starting. He's highly motivated. You're starting Baker. You're starting Mike Evans. Again, a great stack, definitely a good stack in DFS as well. Bucky Irving Can you say enough about this guy?

Speaker 2:

Love him, fire him up, love him.

Speaker 1:

Are you willing to start Rashad White in this game?

Speaker 2:

Yes.

Speaker 1:

Okay, it's against the Panthers, so should be a good matchup for him. The other guy, my start of the week last week, let's go, baby, hey hats off to you, john Rookie, jalen McMillan let's go, let's go. I'm sorry, the guy's got four touchdowns in the past three weeks.

Speaker 2:

I'm playing him again against this Panthers offense. Let's go Roll them out. Roll them out there, baby, I'm with you, john.

Speaker 1:

We can do it. Let's go. Anybody else in this game that you want to start? Nope, okay, moving on here, let's go to the NFC East. We've got the 7-8 Cowboys against the 12-3 Philadelphia Eagles News in this one. Jalen Hurts left early in the first quarter here in this game with a concussion. Guys, it's been up and down 50% of the time. It works every time. Sometimes they come back, but you're going to have to make plans without Jalen Hurts this week. Kenny Pickett came in, threw a little bit, threw a little bit. Okay, he likes. He likes AJ Brown. What are we doing? Let's start with the Eagles. Because of the Jalen Hurts injury. What are we doing with this team? We know Barkley is going to go absolutely ape shit against this Cowboys defense. What else are we looking at in the passing game here with the Eagles?

Speaker 2:

You're loving AJ Brown, as crazy as that sounds. Even with Jalen Hurts, you might even like him even more, which is nuts. He had 15 targets, guys, when Pickett came in. Yes, game script was a huge part of that, but again they were up by like 21 points and 14 points up until like the end of the third quarter, guys. So, like you know, even with the game script being negative for that point in time, he still had 15 targets. The other John we went back and forth on this a little bit. Devonta Smith he'd be the only other one to the Eagles that I would entertain in the Super Bowl right now. You were kind of a little bit leaning a different way I'm leaning towards. I think you got to plug him in. He had roughly what eight targets, I believe, is what it was. So for me, man, I think that I would actually start. Devonta Smith, what do you?

Speaker 1:

think you know I've changed my tune a little bit. You and I were arguing a little bit about Devonta Smith here. The reason that I'm changing is that the tight ends had zero targets zero targets out of the tight ends in this game. Goddard's gone. You're looking at Calcaterra and Uzama they got zero targets. So because of that and Devontae Smith had eight targets, six catches on eight targets I do think you can play Devontae Smith in this game. I'm a little scared to do it, but it's a sheer target share thing when I saw zero targets out of any of the tight ends they're not game planning for tight ends, they're having the tight ends and they're blocking for Barkley, and when you see Devonta Smith on the field he is getting targets. So I would start him this week and feel decent about it. Yeah.

Speaker 2:

All right, let's look at the Cowboys here. Man, who are we playing on, the Cowboys? This Eagles defense is legit, is 60% of the year. If I'm being quite honest, this is not a game. I've said it last week, I've said it the week before and I've said it the week before. There are teams. When you play against them, you just have to adjust. Even how good some of these running backs have been, like Rico Dowdle he's been very solid over the last few weeks especially you can't do it against this defensive front. They are insane. They are so good, especially at home. This is not a time to where you want to be trying to be cute and rolling out Rico Dowdle with Cooper Rush as the quarterback, as the helm, because the reality is even as good as what CeeDee Lamb is, which you're definitely starting. Ceedee Lamb just want to call that out. You're definitely starting Ferguson for sure. Outside of that, man, cooper Rush isn't a good enough quarterback to completely take the pressure off of the backfield. So for me, man, I am definitely sitting Rico Dowdle this week.

Speaker 1:

All right, let's move over to the four o'clock games. Here We've got the seven and eight Miami Dolphins at the three and 12 Cleveland Browns. Ooh, this feels like a trap game to me for the Dolphins Feels like a big time trap here. First of all, I just spent the weekend in Cleveland. It's cold as shit there right now and there's snow on the ground, so you could have an interesting forecast here on Sunday for this game. We know what happens. Frankie, what are we looking at in the Dolphins In the cold? A little scary Talk about the Dolphins. What are we?

Speaker 2:

thinking yeah, john, for me, man, dolphins, there's really two guys, and it is three guys. Janu Smith, you're going to be rolling him out from a tight end landscape. You're definitely starting to A-chan. You have to. It's not a super great matchup, but you have to. And then it's Cheetah. You got to roll him out, john, and I'm not even that high on Cheetah.

Speaker 2:

Let me be crystal clear this isn't a great matchup, even though we have seen the Browns give up good fantasy points to that of receivers. The issue is, is the person throwing him the ball right? Last week, I said Burrow because Burrow was throwing to Chase. Even though it's not a great matchup for Chase, burrow's still going to get the ball to him. Tua, anytime it's under 40 degrees, man, he doesn't perform well. Actually, I don't know if he's won a game when it's been under 40 degrees. Going into Cleveland, into hostile territory, to where we're trying to be spoilers, where Denzel Ward's going to be lined up over Cheetah, it's not great. Tua throwing the ball, it's not great. So, for me, man, I do think, though, you're probably going to roll off Cheetah just because his big playability. You're definitely starting HN. You're definitely starting to, janu Smith, where you didn't hear me say start and it was intentional was Tua Tagovailoa. You're sitting him this week.

Speaker 1:

All right, I like it, man, I like it, and get the balls of steel out. All right, now let's talk about the browns.

Speaker 2:

Uh, jerome ford, my start of the week last week, absolutely saved me.

Speaker 1:

Yes, yes, he did. Did play well. Uh, did get a lot of volume and was a very important part of this offense. This passing game looks fucking atrocious, though dtr. They should not be putting this guy out there again. But what are we going to do next week is? Is Jameis going to play? Is it going to be DTR? And who can you trust?

Speaker 2:

John. For me, man, you're not trusting any receiver. I'm sorry, jerry Judy, as much as you've been incredible, we're not trusting you. You had four points, elijah Moore, four points. The only two people, in my opinion, john, that you can trust in your Super Bowl is that beautiful tight end in that of Njoku. And by beautiful I mean like John dude's chiseled. I mean I'm a straight dude with two kids, you're a straight dude with four kids, like let's just call it what it is. I'm man enough to say holy shit, bro, like good for you, like you're I mean wow. But dude, you're starting Njoku and you're rolling out Jerome Ford baby and outside of that you're sitting back and saying hey, next game.

Speaker 1:

All right, don't want to spend too much time on my brownies, unfortunately. All right, let's go and move on. Here We've got the 10-4 Packers. Here we go. Here's a game, frankie. Yeah, 10-4 Green Bay Packers at the 13-2 Minnesota Vikings. Let's go. Let's get a good four o'clock game on Sunday. What are we doing?

Speaker 2:

here, man, let's start with the Packers. John, you're firing up, you're firing up Jordan Love, you're firing up Josh Jacobs, you're probably probably firing up that of Tucker Craft or Luke Musgrave, whoever ends up coming out a little bit ahead. Again, we're going to figure out tonight. But again you're going to want to kind of level expectations there. But then for me, man, it's going to be Jaden Reed and I'm going to go Christian Watson. I think that he is one that you can maybe flex out due to his boom capability. Sure, we've seen Dubs score and things like that. But for me, man, I'm leaning Jaden Reed and Christian Watson over Dubs and Wicks.

Speaker 1:

Okay, and then Minnesota. Who are we playing here? Are you firing up just about everybody in this matchup?

Speaker 2:

Enjoy Fire them up Hawkinson, jj, addison, aaron Jones, darnold, baby 13-12. Sam Darnold, the same guy that's seeing ghosts, is over here seeing the 13-win season and seeing dollar signs after this year. So yeah, baby, you're firing them all up.

Speaker 1:

It's almost one of those games where it's just fantasy points for everybody. Play them all and get a good, get some parlays, and going in this game too. Oh my God, all right, sounds good, we're going to play everybody in that game. All right, let's get to the next one here. We've got Sunday night game Falcons eight and seven, atlanta Falcons at the 10 and five Washington Commanders. Let's start with the Falcons here. Man, all right, they're doing, uh, doing some business. You know the football could be a dirty, dirty business sometimes. And uh, kirk Cousins, you're going to cost these guys $10 million. You've thrown eight picks in the past couple of games here. Uh, yeah, he's going to end up going here. He's thrown eight picks in the past couple of games here. Yeah, he's going to end up going here, he's gone.

Speaker 1:

Michael Penix Jr changes this offense. A little news from this team as well. Drake London questionable. He may not play. Too early to get any information on this. So let's assume at the moment, let's assume Drake London does play. Not completely healthy. Michael Penix Jr, what are we doing with this Atlanta offense? I'm confused.

Speaker 2:

John, I'm definitely rolling out Drake London If he is playing. I'm rolling out Drake London, especially against the commander's team, to what we just saw from the Philly receivers, with Pickett throwing the ball. Yeah, I want a piece. I'm also also going to be throwing out Darnell Mooney. I think even if Drake London plays you called it out he's going to be a little bit banged up. I think this is where Darnell Mooney comes in and plays very, very well. So for me it's those guys and of course, b John Robinson. Outside of that, john, I'm not playing anybody else, especially pitting out Pitts over there. Yeah, he's sitting his ass down for Christmas week.

Speaker 1:

I think it's going to be a massive B John Robinson game. I do too Massive, massive B John Robinson game. All right, let's talk about the commanders here. Man Rough week last week for Brian Robinson Jr. You said to sit him down. That was the correct move. What do we do this week? You're clearly starting another wonderful stack, Holy shit 49.

Speaker 2:

You're clearly starting another wonderful stack, holy matter. Well, they're full of shit, because I mean it's just insane, right. So for me, man, like, yes, you can absolutely start Brian Thomas this week or, excuse me, brian Robinson Jr this week, and also John Zachers, don't leave him out. I think that this is an interesting game for him, especially kind of a get-right-true real game for him against, you know, another NFC opponent. So for me, man, I think that, outside of the two superstars being Jaden Daniels and Scary Terry, I think that you can certainly roll out Brian Robinson and that of Zacherts.

Speaker 1:

All right, all right, let's go to the last game here Monday Night Football. Last game here, monday Night Football. Frankie, we made it through. Monday Night Football. We've got the 13-2 Detroit Lions at the 6-9, eliminated officially from the playoffs San Francisco 49ers Crazy, yeah. All right, let's start with the Lions, because this one's easy and super fun. The Lions' Dan Campbell was like fucking Oprah this past Sunday. You get a touchdown and you get a touchdown and you get a touchdown. Literally every single player on the. You get a touchdown and you get a touchdown and you get a touch. Literally every single player on the team got a touchdown. I, jamie JMO, got one. I'm in raw, Gibbs LaPorta Everybody got a touchdown. In this game. You're starting up every single person that you can in fantasy on the lines this week.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, Everybody everybody.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we'll move right on from that and we're going to go right over the 49ers, because this is a much different situation. Frankie, we get so many questions about start sits with the 49ers and this week does not make it any easier. Man, all right playing against the Lions. Their rushing defense is very good Passing defense. Their secondary has gotten decimated, so they have been struggling in the past defense here. What are we doing with the San Francisco 49ers offense? Talk to me.

Speaker 2:

John, this has been really tough right. Debo Samuel has been one of those guys. I'm going to start with him because he's been so frustrating all year. He's been terrible. He's been droppable first, droppable, droppable all year, and then, of course, he scores and he starts finding his own, last this past week.

Speaker 2:

For me, john, I'm actually going to stay in the flames with debo, just due to the fact of how bad the detroit's lions secondary is. Not because of necessarily play, truly because of injury. You mentioned it, I believe they have five um starting or rotating pieces out or hurt, uh, from just their secondary alone and also some of their linebackers. So right, that middle of the field has been a little bit tough recently. So for me, man, I do, I am leaning towards Debo Samuel. I'm also saying you're probably going to fire up Juwan Jennings and he has been very good all year. But here's why both of those guys also make sense.

Speaker 2:

Outside of the injuries is that the game script could be way out of hand. The Lions offense is doing something that we haven't seen in a very, very long time in terms of the amount of points that they're putting up Guys and with the 49ers just wanting to cling to some dignity and things like that. Brock Purdy staring down a contract, things like that. There are still things to be playing for. So for me, man, I could see Brock Purdy having to air this out he's going to need that of Debo, he's going to need that of Jawan Jennings against a beaten up secondary. So I'm looking to start both of those guys, and then, of course, Kittle.

Speaker 1:

The one thing that's kind of changing my mind a tad about Debo, I think because of the running back injuries, we were hoping they were going to get him more involved with that. They didn't and it was very frustrating for us. This past week, five carries for 25 yards on the ground for Debo, along with seven catches, nine targets, 96 yards and a touchdown. He's involved now. So I am changing my tune because they are going to have to score to keep up with this team. It's going to be a volume play. I would not start any of the running backs for San Francisco at this point. Patrick Taylor Garendo, if he plays, I don't like any of that. I think he can start Debo, though I have turned around on that. So Debo, jennings Kittle are the guys that we're looking at. I'm very hesitant on Brock Purdy. I mean you played Brock Purdy over Matt Stafford. Let's circle it back to what you talked about.

Speaker 2:

Yeah, I am true, truly because of game script. That is truly why Brock Purdy or Anthony Richardson? I'm going to go Purdy.

Speaker 1:

I'm going to go Purdy. Okay, brock Purdy or Bo Nix.

Speaker 2:

Bo Nix, let's go.

Speaker 1:

I found one for you. Come on, I love it. All right, guys. That is the full slate of games. Good to know it takes us an hour and eight minutes to get through a full slate of games. Let's do this. Good luck to everybody. My God, it's your Super Bowl. I want to see the trophies. I want to see posted. Post it to us, show it to us, send them to us. I want to see pictures of the trophies. I want to see pictures of the rings, the belts, whatever it is you do.

Speaker 2:

I want to see, all of that stuff We'll shout you out.

Speaker 1:

Yeah, we'll shout you out. I can't wait to see it all. Frankie, what do we have coming up? The Super Bowl will be over. What are they going to tune into in the next few weeks, man Guys?

Speaker 2:

here's what you're tuning into. It ain't Fridays with Frankie. We're setting that to the side. We'll start that up again here soon, right? But what we're going to be doing next week and we're going to be here for three more weeks, so stay with us, guys.

Speaker 2:

For the next two, we're going to be reviewing, getting you ready for the draft in 25, your fantasy drafts in 25. But in order to do that, we have to review how the players performed this past season. Who were some of the biggest busts? Who should you potentially be avoiding in your draft because of how they performed? Who were some of the biggest shining moment players who really stood the test of time over this course of a crazy season with all these injuries? Don't worry, we're going to break it down for you and give it to you in a fun way.

Speaker 2:

And then, john, of course, the last week, which will be week three, we're going to give that rookie review, review the episodes that people come back for they're eating that shit up because they want to know how right we were and how wrong they were. That's about right, and I'll flip it how wrong we were and how right they were, just to give you a little bit, but we will be coming back to you guys for next week and, john, we're going to be recording this actually next Monday as well, so this one will actually be dropping maybe another time throughout the coming weeks things like that, and next week at some point due to that of new year's eve and new year's day all right, all right, guys.
