SPEAKER_01:

Week six guys, we're giving you the top starting sits to get you ready for this coming week. Let's go.

SPEAKER_03:

Alright, alright, alright. Welcome to the show. This is the Frankly Fantasy Football Podcast. We are your hosts, Frankie and Johnny, coming to you live. I'm actually in Germany right now. Recording this. Germany and Düsseldorf, but I was at the London game. Hey oh look at Jenny went to the Browns Vikings game. Yeah. I gotta tell you, man, NFL. Great work. I mean, it was fantastic. What a wonderful experience being in Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in uh good old London. It was fantastic, man. Had an absolute blast. Wish I would have seen my Brownies won, but I knew exactly how that game was gonna go watching it, Frank. I turned to the guy next to me and I said, Hey man, he's getting all excited. I go, man, do you think we're gonna pull this off? And I said, I've seen this movie before, brother, and I I'm pretty sure I know how it ends.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, is this your first time? Hop on head. Yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, are you a new Browns fan? Is that what this is? Okay, well, yeah. Let me buy you a beer, my friend. Okay, and maybe some SSRIs. You're gonna need some depression medication. Welcome to being a Browns fan, buddy. You know, for that's that's right. Yeah, yeah. Yeah, I'm gonna need to take you to the pub and we're gonna have to get pissed, okay? Because that's what Browns fans do, man. Uh hey, hey, this past week, dude. Uh I mean, absolutely turned everything on its head once again. Great. You know? I mean, it it's one thing that's great about the NFL, though, is that it's really even, man. I mean, what? We have no undefeated teams now. I mean, it's so many divisions are completely up for grabs with all of the injuries and everything going on. I mean, it's really an even playing field across most of the board. It totally is.

SPEAKER_01:

And John, we're seeing some serious ass upsets. I mean, like, we're we're talking uh Patriots. List them out. Yeah, let's just do it. Patriots and Bills, Patriots going to the Bills and beating them. You got the Titans beating the Cardinals on some of the most ridiculous shit I've ever seen. I mean, they were up 21 to 6 in the fourth. You got the Saints upsetting the the Giants, you got the Texans absolutely waxing, waxing the Ravens, and then the Jags beating the Chiefs on what might have been the ugliest go-ahead touchdown I've ever seen in my life, but it still counts. That was absurd. It still counts.

SPEAKER_03:

So wow, man. Now, I I couldn't watch that game because it starts at 1 a.m. in London, you know, so I couldn't actually see it. I woke up the next morning and saw that play where he fell on his ass, fell on his face, gets up and just runs a touchdown. And I'm like, what is even going on, man?

SPEAKER_01:

I Chiefs, Chiefs are not atop of the AFC, they're not even close at this point.

SPEAKER_03:

No, no. I mean, who do you put at the top of the AFC right now?

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, I would still personally, I'm still going with the Bills. I still think it's the Bills at the top of the AFC. And then, John, I think it's a teardrop. I think that, I mean, do we look at the Steelers? Are the Steelers legit? I mean, that's totally something that could be viable. I mean, do we actually that defense has to turn around? They have to turn around. They have to turn around.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, that's a very porous defense right now.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, do we list the Jaguars? I mean, we talked all offseason about Liam Cohen, and they're four and one with some serious wins under their belt. It's not just ridiculous wins. I mean, we're talking the San Francisco 49ers, the Chiefs, and and others, like, man, I don't know. I'm just saying, like, I'm I'm not a believer yet, but they're turning a guy who wasn't a believer into ooh, they're they might be fun to watch now, type of thing.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I mean, they still have a lot of potential. I mean, we still the running game wasn't huge in that game. Uh BTJ still is not putting up big numbers, you know, so there's a lot of room to grow there. And Travis Hunter had some really cool plays. But super cool, but still he's not putting up fantasy stats, you know what I mean? So there's not really, you know, I th I think they're they're they've got potential still, you know. Good record with potential. Colts, Colts might be the best team in the AFC. We gotta give credit where credit's due. I mean, they're good. We got to. Yeah. Jonathan Taylor's the best running back in football.

SPEAKER_01:

It's not even close, in my opinion. It's not even close.

SPEAKER_03:

It's not even close. No, he's putting together one of those special seasons right now. I hope it continues. I hope it continues. Yeah. Um, let talk for a second. You want to talk about exciting. Holy shit. The Buccaneers and the Seahawks game, Frank, 38 to 35. Talk about it.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, John, I be Baker Mayfield right now. I'm gonna say it, he is the leading candidate for MVP, and I don't even think it's questionable at this point. And here's why. Out of the four wins that they have, right? Every win was a game-winning drive by Baker Mayfield. That's incredible. They don't have a superstar defense. It's not the defense of the old. It has to be on Baker's shoulder. He's doing this without his number one receiver, he's doing this without Bucky Irving last week. And what we're saying, I mean, dude, the tenacity from this cat is unbelievable. We all saw it here at Cleveland, but what's so cool to see him take it and ball up all that moxie and shit and totally now like be able to direct it in a positive way. And man, Tampa Bay, outside of that loss from the Eagles, which I mean, they were driving. They were driving on that last uh possession there. I love them. I'm on the Buccaneers train, sign me up and twice on Tuesday, but then you can't also discount the Seahawks and what Sam Darnold is doing. I mean, when you think about their same draft class, and to think about was it actually just Kevin O'Connell or, you know, was Sam Darnold actually there? No, guys, it's Sam Darnold's real. He's here. And and here's what's crazy. John, before that game against the Buccaneers, Sam Darnold is leading the NFL in passes beyond 20 yards to the point to where they're catchable at an 86% rate. 86%. The next is 69. Guys, Sam Darnold is playing out of his fucking mind. So what a hell of a game. Everybody, it was like, you get fantasy points, and you get fantasy points. That's what it felt like, man.

SPEAKER_03:

Especially if you came from wide receiver U. Oh, say it again. Actually, from where, John? Wide receiver U. I'm not talking about LSU, motherfucker. I'm talking about the Ohio State University. Yeah. JSN, probably the best receiver in football at the moment. I mean, he's in fantasy anyway. He's absolutely killing it. With his deep routes are insane. And by the way, I I I have to correct you on something, Frank. I don't normally do this, but you talked about Baker missing his number one receiver. I beg to differ with you, man. He's got a number one receiver from wide receiver U. Dude, it's a mech egg Buka, man. I mean, here's Buka Baby is absolutely insane right now. I'm so mad I didn't make him my champion. Listen to this stat, dude, from underdog on Twitter. The only player with 25 plus receptions, 400 plus receiving yards, and five plus receiving touchdowns in first five career games. The only player to do that. It's insane, man. Yeah. Good on you. Good on you, Booker Baby. Keep it going, man. I love that shit. All right, now, you know, all I have in the notes here, Frankie, is Uncle Rico. And I'll tell you what, man. Back in my day, I could throw the ball a quarter mile over there. Uncle Rico. Talk about Rico Dowdle. I mean, give me a break with that stat line, man.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, we're not, hey, it isn't dwindling doubtless like last year. I know how to pronounce this dude's name. Let me tell you. And he, I mean, dude, come on. To run for over 200 yards. 200 yards. You know what's wild? Rico Dowdle has more rushing yards than that of Alvin Kamara. Put that into perspective this season. It's just crazy, man. Now, again, what do you think two games? Yeah, I mean, it's crazy. I mean, dude, what do you do if you're the Panthers? I mean, Chuba Hubbard looked incredible last year. He's out hurt. If I'm the Panthers, I'm rolling with the hot hand. You have to at this point. If a guy's running for 200 plus yards in a game, and mind you, it wasn't like it wasn't like a super shitty defense that they're playing against. I mean, you know, just calling it a spade to spade, he looked damn good. And it's like we saw this last year with Dallas, man. Like Rico, Rico could ball, Rico could play. And so for me, man, wow, hats off. Hell of a thing to witness. And just an absolute cool thing to see then Bryce Young lead them down against Miami and then just take it by storm and win that game. Hell of a game by the Panthers.

SPEAKER_03:

I you know, it's one of those fantasy weeks where a guy just gets possessed. That's what happened. And no one can stop. We've seen it before where just for whatever reason, every time they touch the ball, it's double-digit yards. Every time, or or housing it 50 yards. I mean, it just yeah, one of those possessions. He was possessed by a demon. So uh Satan, I have a couple of players that uh I would like for you to possess, if you don't mind, for next week. I could use a little hero.

SPEAKER_01:

Henry could use some help, that's for sure. Jeez, we'll talk about it.

SPEAKER_03:

He needs to be sitting at the crossroads talking to the devil himself, man, because yeah. Actually, all the teams that are birds, all the birds really look ravens, cardinal cardinals. What in the absolute hell? That was terrible. That was terrible. God, man. Coaching. It was bad coaching. And you know what? I hate to say it because I love Kevin Stefansky, but that was bad coaching as well, man. It was just bad coaching at the end of that game, you know? Yeah. All right, let's take a look and uh get into the news, baby.

SPEAKER_00:

Absolutely lost.

SPEAKER_03:

News and notes. All right, breaking news. Speaking of the Browns, speaking about London, speaking about teams that have been struggling here, Matt. Joe Flacco traded to the Bengals from the Browns. Browns are trading a sixth, and they're getting a fifth pick as well. Fifth round pick as well, man. What do you think about this trade? What's going on?

SPEAKER_01:

I actually think that the trade isn't a bad trade on paper. And here's what I mean. Yeah. To get a fifth round pick is actually still something of value, right? To get anything fifth fifth round and under, or fifth round and higher, should I say. So fifth, fourth, third, second, first is great. And here's the other thing. We knew when you switch from Joe Flacco to a rookie, you ain't going back to Joe Flacco. So he was just gonna rot on this bench. And then what we're seeing then from the Bengals is I mean, Jacob, I mean, Browning is just not the dude. And yeah, he had a better week, but still looked like absolute ass. So I think on paper it makes a lot of sense. Joe Flacco could come in and really help them out. Again, when we look at the offensive line issues, though, there are certainly problems with that of the Bengals, but there's also been problems with the Browns. So Joe Flacco might be able to do a little bit better in this offensive scheme with Zach Taylor. Um, but for me, man, I actually think it's a win for both sides. You get rid of Flacco for the Browns, you get a nice little fifth round. But here's what's crazy to me the answer is why. Why did the Browns do it at this point in time? And I'll tell you why. I think they needed to move a roster spot to get ready for the gap, to get ready for Mr. Massage Man himself coming back.

SPEAKER_03:

I can't believe we're still talking about it's crazy.

SPEAKER_01:

I get it, it's crazy, but dude, I'm just saying there is something in the water in Cleveland to where, and trust me, the water's been on fire multiple times. So there's something really in this water that is just fucked up. There's something going on to where we could truly end up seeing Deshaun Watson in a Browns uniform once more and then rocking and rolling from there. I don't know. Is that stop it? That's not I don't know, man. That's not right. No way. We haven't been listening. And the only time that that's gonna happen is after we see Dylan Gabriel kind of with his extended period, he's gonna at least get four to five games. And then I think that you gotta test Shador Sanders, you gotta give him the ability. But if we start seeing, like, hey, we're already paying this dude through next year, he's now healthy, like he's certainly better than the rookies from what we've seen so far. I can't really say that about Shador. There could be something here. So tabling that, but what I'm saying in regards to the trade, it makes sense. That's all I'm saying.

SPEAKER_03:

And as far as fantasy goes, it doesn't really matter who's starting at quarterback for the Browns. All right, you're starting the two tight ends and you're starting Quinshawn Judkins. That's pretty much it. If you have to start Jerry Judy, you can, but you don't want to. You don't want to, man. No. Um I but what about the Bengals? I mean, that's where I'm thinking. Why does this make sense? I mean, the way I'm looking at it is either Joe Flacco's gonna die and we're gonna witness his death on live TV, or it's gonna be incredible for the receivers. I I just don't think there's any in-between there, man. I mean, it's I I I don't know why they didn't they didn't even call, apparently, reports are in New York for Jameis. For Russ or for Jameis for that matter. Either one of those two guys would have been excellent for us for fantasy football. And they're both a lot more mobile than Joe Flacco. So I just don't understand, man. I mean, does so now at this point we have to hold Chase and Higgs. You gotta wait, you gotta wait and see. You know, uh, what do you do if it sucks? What do you do if Flacco gets blasted?

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, what if you hey, I mean, you're going back to Browning anyways, he's still on the roster. I mean, shit, at this point, you just traded away a nice fifth round pick to the Browns, but for the Bengals, man, I think I think what we saw from Chase last week, it was so good to see him explode. It was so good to see that back. And I give me garbage time. I don't care to get it through a garbage truck, it doesn't matter. I want the point. Yeah, yeah. I think that we could see more opportunities like this with Flacco rather than Browning. I just think, but again, to your point, man. I mean, Flacco, it's not like he hasn't been a turnover machine, he has been a turnover machine. Yeah. So, I mean, and that's the whole problem with Browning. And I think there's other things that I've been hearing and seeing is that Browning's struggling to process the offense, which is super weird because he looked really good last year. So I don't know how much I believe that. I think it's just he's being exposed. And it's he's being exposed because his offensive line is terrible and other things. And man, to your point, I don't know how Flacco's gonna really be behind that offensive line, but I think that what this does, it gives us as fantasy players an opportunity to see more ceiling plays, hopefully from that of Jamar Chase, and it makes T. Higgins relevant again.

SPEAKER_03:

All right. All right, let's get to the injuries here. Uh Amari Anhampton, this one hurts my soul. I've I'm very, very heavy and invested in Amari and Hampton this year. Um, but he is high ankle sprain. He is being put on the IR, so he's missing at least four games. Uh, Frankie, talk to me about this backfield now because we're looking at waiver wires. Everybody's picking up both of these guys. You've got Kamani Videll and you've got Hassan Haskins. Uh, breaking this down, Hassan Haskins, the bigger guy. I think he's like 6'1, 2'10, kind of a more of a Judkins type player. And then you've got Kamani Videll, who's going to be much more involved in the passing game, but he did also take over all the work after Omarion left. Um, but now they've got a week to plan ahead on this. So how do you think this is going to shake out? Where are you putting your mind?

SPEAKER_01:

I think it's going to be a Greg Roman old school offense, guys. I think it's going to be a one-two punch here. It's going to be kind of that Keaton Mitchell with Derrick Henry. It's going to be the Gus Edwards, J.K. Dobbins. I think that that's going to be the approach they take until Omarion comes back. However, if I have to take one of them, it's going to be Kamani. I think that it's seeing we've seen him before. They drafted him fairly like in the middle of the rounds when they picked him up as a rook. And so for me, man, like I think that he is the guy that I'm kind of clinging, clinging to from that perspective. But again, if he's gone, then I'm more than happy to get Haskins because he could end up being the goal line type of guy. We got to wait and see how this ends up kind of unfolding. Because the other thing is, is what we saw when Hampton went out is is that um, oh, I'm drawn up like Herbert, excuse me, looked really good in the passing game again. And so he's now gonna be a surefire guy, throwing the ball a ton more, which is gonna open up Ladd McConkey even more so, which is what we saw this past week. There you go, Johnny Boy. You called it last week. You said, hey, he's a buy four candidate, and I was saying to sell him, and I'm still not sure how I feel about that. I'm still leaning more towards the sell side, but understand the buy side as well. But for me, man, I think that this is gonna be a guide that with uh Herbert, this offense is gonna be more pass focused, and then it's gonna be kind of a one-two punch perspective with the two backs.

SPEAKER_03:

Antonio Gibson, up, bring out the bell, bring out the bell again, damn it. Antonio Gibson tears his ACL and he will miss the season, running back for the Patriots. Uh, this was interesting, man, because it was a 50-50 split between uh Gibson and Ramondre. Uh so what this does is it elevates Ramondre. It does, you know. I they love Ramondre Stevenson. I know none of us do, we don't, but they do, so you have to fucking play him. I mean, that's the bottom line. We're not the head coaches here, guys. Will what what will this give more to Trevion Henderson? I mean, is he one of the most frustrating fantasy players?

SPEAKER_01:

It has to, it has to, and that's what I don't understand. It's not like he's playing back. It's John, I saw a couple memes out there that was like Ramondre fumbling for the fourth time in a game. Oh, we'll give him two more chances. Don't worry about it. It's just like, guys, I don't like what is this? Like, you know what I mean? Like, so I don't understand. I don't understand. Um, but for me, yes, it immediately elevates. I think you're completely right. I think it totally elevates Ramondre, and we have to acknowledge that, even though we don't want it to, it's the reality, but it certainly is going to elevate Trevion, and maybe we start seeing Trevion start to actually taking some of those first team reps away.

SPEAKER_03:

I think, I think Ramondre's got some uh dirt on somebody. I think he's blackmailing the coach. What is happening? Jesus. I'll I'll bring out the bell again, man. Ah, the damn bell. Four kicker, Colt kicker Schrader, number one kicker in fantasy football. He goes. He's out for the season. He goes, he's out for the season. Make other plans there. Uh Darius Slayton, wide receiver for the Giants, also left with a hamstring injury, could miss some time there. I mean, this Jesus Christ, this wide receiver room, it's got to be the worst in the NFL. No question about it, right?

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, we're we're talking this is bad, guys.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, real bad. It's real bad. I mean, you're basically starting Cam Scataboo and hoping he does everything at this point, which he kind of has been, so it's been kind of nice. Yeah. All right, let's look at some players to watch here. We've got some guys that might be coming back, but you're gonna have to watch practice this week, guys, and see if they do make it back. Saquon Barkley's dealing with a knee issue. Uh, missed Monday's practice. They do play, I believe they play Thursday, correct? And they did say he is going to play. Just be aware he's gonna be limited. Okay. So behind Saquon Barkley, I I mean, it's really kind of a mess, right? There's not really anybody you can even surely you don't have room to stash AJ Dillon or Will Shipley or Tank Bigsby or, you know, I mean, that's what we're looking at behind Barkley. So there's not really a cute move you can really make.

SPEAKER_01:

No, yeah, you hold tight on Saquon here, and then what you do is you totally go after uh Kamani Videll or that of uh San Haskins.

SPEAKER_03:

Scary Terry, Terry McLaurin, wide receiver for the Washington Manders, optimistic to return to week six, but he still could miss one more game. You're gonna have to watch that, guys. It's been a little slow going for him here. Uh Kyler Murray left the game, came back in. He's dealing with a foot injury, should be okay for week six, but pay attention. Lamar. Talk to me a little bit about Lamar, Frank. Um, I mean, do you think he's gonna play this week? Guys, or is they gonna see?

SPEAKER_01:

He's trying. He's trying to play. Every report that's coming out is he wants to be on the field, but this is a terrible decision. I know that the Ravens right now are one and five, right? Or one and four, excuse me. And so heading into week six, it's not great. I mean, let's just call it what it is. It's totally not great. And so for me, though, they have that bye week in week seven. So if you can just sit him for one more week, get him completely healthy. If there's somebody who understands this, Sean, it's Browns fans. Because we saw what happened with Baker Mayfield with this exact not the exact issue, but what happens if you bring back a star caliber type of player when they're not 100% healthy, they overcompensate, get re-injured, and then it becomes real bad. So if if I'm in their shoes, I get it. It's almost like you have to say you have to save the player from himself.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I agree. I mean, it's he's way too important to this team. He's he needs to be full health to be out there, man. I agree with that one. Uh, Bucky Irving, all right. This one's weird, Frank. Bucky Irving missed. He left his game before he was in a walking boot, uh, missed with a foot injury, but now what's keeping him out is a severe shoulder injury, believe it or not. That was the reports coming out today. Looking like he's gonna miss two more weeks. So pay attention to what's going on with Bucky, but uh, you're not gonna see him this week, and he could miss next week as well. So tough. Yikes, man. Uh, bring out Rashad White, though. You know, I mean, this team's gonna score, and I think he's gonna see a lot of catches out of the backfield here. CeeDee Lamb, wide receiver for the Cowboys, working his way back. Check practice, no guarantees. Don't get too excited, Frank, but he's looking like he's working his way back. Yeah, yeah, he's getting there. Uh Brock Bowers, still dealing with a PCL injury. You're gonna have to watch practice. He may miss again here, guys. It's looking like he probably will, because the only thing really you can do for that is rest. So they're certainly not gonna rush him out there. All right, guys, football season is in full swing. It's crazy out there right now, guys. And underdog is the best place to get in in all the action. Playing underdog is so easy, guys. Just pick whether your favorite players are gonna go higher or lower on stats like rushing yards, receptions, touchdowns, and so much more. Frankie, you got to pick for a second.

SPEAKER_01:

I sure do, guys. This week on underdog, I'm looking at two particular players. The first is going to be JK Dobbins, and I'll tell you what, we're taking him going higher than that of 69 yards rushing versus that of the Jets. And then I'm also looking at our boy Jonathan, the machine tailor over here, and I'm taking him for higher than 0.5 receiving or rushing touchdowns, guys. That's so good. I love that.

There's no ice in the water and it's bubbly. Come on. I can't I can't get refreshed. I'm sweating.

SPEAKER_01:

Start dumping it all over you, John.

SPEAKER_03:

Give me the sparkling water. They always say, You want gas? No, I don't want gas, okay? No gas. No gas in my water. I just want regular water. Just give me some damn water and some ice, man, and some air conditioning. All right, let's take a look at the week ahead here, Frank. Uh, week six buys. Okay, they're being kind to us a bit. There's only two, so that's nice. Last week was brutal. Uh this week we've got the Houston Texans and the Minnesota Vikings. Uh, you know, Frank, giving the Vikings the bye, because they're coming back from England, London, I get that. I get that. Yeah, uh they gave uh, you know, the Steelers got a bye when they came back from Dublin, and they're playing the Browns this week. Well, the Browns are coming back from London, Frank. That doesn't seem very fair now, does it?

SPEAKER_02:

Oh, you mean we got a we we don't get a bye week this week, and we have to go to the Steelers? No, we don't get a week.

SPEAKER_01:

Oh, okay.

SPEAKER_02:

I just need to confirm.

SPEAKER_01:

Yes. After they're coming off their bye week because they were in Europe. Okay, I just wanted to that's good.

SPEAKER_03:

That's just what I map at. And the the Browns played the Vikings, who was in Europe for two weeks, and the Browns got there like Friday. Uh listen, I I did this, man. It takes a full day to even know where the hell you are, let alone get up and play some football. So you're getting close, NFL, but you gotta figure that piece out. It's still not quite fair. Almost there. Yeah, it's it's almost there. So close. All right, man. We got a good game on Thursday night here. Um yeah, I I think it's gonna be a redemption game here for Philly. Uh, what do you think about this game? Giants versus Philly Thursday night football.

SPEAKER_01:

I think that it's it's gonna be the Eagles. I think it's I'm all over the Eagles in this game. I mean, who who let's who is Dark gonna throw the ball to? Well, there's two players, maybe three, if you can include Scataboo. It's gonna be Wandale Robinson. Hopefully he can get open, knowing that he's literally the only guy. And then I'm telling you, man, Theo Johnson. Theo Johnson, guys, mark this down. It is absolutely gonna be on my waiver wire pickups for today. So be just plugging that in here. He needs to be roster, and I'll tell you why. He has in the last since Jackson Dart has taken over as starter, he's had 12 targets, nine receptions, 50 yards, and three tuds. He is absolutely the red zone threat that every bit of Jackson Dart has been looking for, and guys, he's great. So, John, really, outside of those three core pieces being Scattaboo, Wandale, and Theo Johnson, which I mean, really, it's one core piece being that of Scataboo, it's gonna be a blood. It's gonna be crazy. It's gonna be crazy. You almost said the word that got on the window.

SPEAKER_02:

No, Frankie, no, no.

SPEAKER_03:

Don't say that word, Frank. Otherwise, 50 goddamn people are only gonna see our podcast. All right, man. Uh AJ Brown. Okay what are we doing, man? This is this is a problem.

SPEAKER_01:

Break it down. Seriously, this is a problem. All right. He has AJ Brown one game in the last five games over 50 yards receiving. Let me re let me say that again. AJ Brown in the last five weeks has one game over 50 yards receiving. Okay, and what what's starting to percolate, what's starting to bubble up a bit, is could there be a trade in the very near future? Could the Eagles look to offload that of AJ Brown, knowing Devonta Smith is a true receiver one? I mean, I don't think anybody can really debate that. Heisman winner, he looks fantastic, he's always been second fiddle, right? And I think that they have enough around him, especially with Dotson and others, to where they have pieces that can play. So from a fantasy point, the other thing to call out here, man, he's averaging less. AJ Brown is averaging less than seven points a game in half PPR. Guys, to put it in perspective, that's borderline, not even a start. That's not even borderline, that's not even a flex piece that you're excited about. And so this is a problem with fantasy, guys. So for me, this also doesn't scream a week that it's gonna be a positive game script. That they actually the the thing is is that the Giants actually have some decent cornerbacks, they actually have a decent offense or defense, excuse me, their defensive line is nasty, and so from that standpoint, man, I mean, we could continue to see AJ Brown. Yes, he was being targeted last week, but it didn't amount to a lot. That Jalen hurts right now with AJ Brown, they're not on the same page. And so for me, man, it's almost like you gotta sit him, but you can't. And it's this gross, disgusting back and forth. And so it's really tough right now.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, we got another London game. We're heading back out there, man. We've got the Broncos and the Jets in London. Uh, what are we expecting in this game, man? What uh what do you like him? First of all, the running backs for Broncos. J.K. I mean, they're yeah, JK. J.K. Dobbins looks great. He looks absolutely great, man. Yeah, he's a stud. You got to play him every week. What do we do with RJ Harvey, though? He's showing some flash here and there with all these injuries. I mean, it's a guy you might have to play that's on your bench, and you know he's gonna be on the field a little bit. Um, but it's it's a pretty deep play.

SPEAKER_01:

Deep play. 14 team, 16 team leagues. I could understand it. If you're in a 12-team league, guys, you gotta look elsewhere. I mean, seriously. Like, and here's why, John is that he's firmly behind that of JK. And what do I mean? I'm talking a 20% snap share. 20%. And like that's JK Dobbins, 100%. When you look at what JK's been doing, I mean, even last week, it's 20 rushes, almost 80 yards rushing and a touchdown. And RJ's seeing 20, four rushes in total. So, yeah, man, you got to bench him in shallow leagues and deep leagues. I understand you might be able to hit some pay dirt. This could be a good game. Jets are kind of a dumpster fire right now, so yeah, it could be something of interest, but yeah, I would sit him.

SPEAKER_03:

The Jets, you're still starting these guys, but this is a tough defense, man. Man, they're playing against. I mean, look what the Broncos did last week with that defense did. So I I I mean this is gonna be a challenge, but the the the Jets are like the garbage king king. They are thing. Is that a is that a thing? The king of garbage. Yeah. The kings of garbage, yeah. I mean, we'll take that. Give me the garbage time all day long. Um, you know, when you talk about stud in this game, it's gotta be Cortland Steve. Steph, right? Is he gonna be is he gonna be blanketed by Sauce Gardner?

SPEAKER_01:

Could be, but what we've seen so far, man, is that it doesn't really matter. It's kind of crazy. He's the number 11 receiver on the year. A number 11 receiver on the year right now. And then you look at across, and the reason why he's being so effective, John, is because you look across the other receiving core, Marvin Mims is performing well. You got Troy Franklin, who is it is so damn cool, guys, to see. Troy Franklin was um Bo Nix's number one option at Oregon when when they were both in in college. So it's so cool. I mean, Troy Franklin, guys, he is a better. Here's what's crazy Troy Franklin is outperforming AJ Brown. Let me that that's how crazy this is. That's how different this is the different this is, right? Like a different guy, Taekwond Thornton is outplaying that of AJ Brown. So this is like a big problem, man, within the AJ Brown situation. But going back to the Broncos, dude, I think that he's performing so well because he finally has assets around him, he finally is a true running game, and Bo Nicks is looking great. So yeah, you're firing up Corland Sutton. And damn it, man, in a deep league, I'll tell you what, I'm firing up Troy Franklin. I really am. I'm okay for that. I'm I'm it's totally fine. What we're seeing is his floor is six, five, six points, but his ceiling, we've seen it be 20 plus.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, let's get to the next one here, Frankie. Uh, this could be some fireworks here in this game, man, after uh what we saw from both teams last week. 49ers versus Tampa Bay. Talk about it, baby.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, it's hey, Baker's playing like an MVP. We already talked about it, so this is gonna be a blast. A Mecca Buka, insane. I mean, just absolutely insane. So for me, man, you're firing up everybody. John, on both sides of the fence, you're firing up everybody, in my opinion. CMC as well, man, for the 49ers. I'm just gonna say it. In my personal opinion, he is the number two running back for the rest of the year behind that of Jonathan Taylor. He's having one of those years. So for me, man, again, fire everybody up for this week.

SPEAKER_03:

CMC is an elite receiver at this point. It's ridiculous. That's that's exactly what he is, yeah. My let's look at the commanders versus the Bears. This should be a really interesting matchup now that uh Jaden Daniels is back. Yeah, Bears have been on a bye, had some time to think about some things, get healthy. First of all, Bill. Bill, Bilbo looked great. I mean, hey, man, we've we've been all over him. He seems to be the Bell Cal currently. I mean, the other guys were sprinkled in a little bit, but Bill had the juice. Bill's got the juice that we saw it after this week. You have to roll this guy out, right?

SPEAKER_01:

You have to 14 carries, 111 yards, and two tods. Yeah, baby. You're firing up Bilbo Baggins over here. JCM, Jacori. Oh, John, edit that out. Hold on. I'm just gonna go back to JM. Absolutely not. You saw it. Absolutely not.

SPEAKER_03:

JCM keeping it in. JCM. Because my favorite thing, my favorite thing in this podcast. Jacori Krosky Mary.

SPEAKER_01:

There we go. I couldn't literally couldn't think of it. And so, yes, that is exactly you're firing his ass up. He's running back 19, running back 19 right now. But here's the more interesting thing with the Bears standpoint, John. DJ Moore. Will DJ Moore get it the fuck together or not? We called it during the Dallas game, and what did we do? Yeah, he ended up having double digit points in half PPR. That was fantastic. But that was the only game this year that he has had over 10 points and uh fantasy points in half PPR. He's sitting at receiver 55 and he's averaging just under eight points a game. It's a problem. It's a problem for DJ Moore owners, you're miserable.

SPEAKER_03:

This sounds familiar. I think I feel like 20 minutes ago we just talked about this. Is DJ Moore AJ Brown?

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, that's pretty much what it's looking like. As crazy as that sounds. As crazy as that sounds.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, they're barely a flex player at this point. Barely both of them, right?

SPEAKER_01:

Yep.

unknown:

Yes.

SPEAKER_03:

All right. Well, we'll see if they get it together or not, man. I don't know. Are you rolling DJ Moore out there? Are you looking for other options?

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, here's the deal. If you have Nico Collins or some of those other guys that are on bye week, maybe you had Justin Jefferson, Jordan Addison, something like that, then yeah, you probably do need to roll him out here. And it's not a terrible matchup. I mean, that's for damn sure. But the issue is that it's Caleb Williams with that of Roman Dunze, and then running the ball pretty darn well with that of uh DeAndre Swift. But yes, I'm gonna be miserable this week, but I would fire him up.

SPEAKER_03:

Let's take a look at uh Indianapolis and the Colts with the Cardinals this week, man. Kyler and Indy. I mean, after last week's game, this this could be an ugly one for the Cardinals, man. I mean, these are two different teams that are playing very differently right now. What do we do with Kyler? I have Kyler. I have the Kyler, Trey McBride stack, and you know, I mean, McBride's gonna be fine. They they really tried to shut him down, but what are we doing with Kyler here? What's gonna happen in this game?

SPEAKER_01:

Kyler's brutal, guys. This isn't a great game for Kyler Murray, and actually, so much so over the course of the year, guys. He's sitting at QB 17 and he has not eclipsed over 20 fantasy points in one game at all this year, not once. And so this is a big problem for that of uh Kyler Murray owners. Maybe you do look to check out if Matt Stafford is on the waiver wire, guys, you got to pick him up for maybe 10 team leagues or even 12 team leagues to where not a ton of people got uh backups there, and he's sitting, he might be a perfect guy to grab and start. But yeah, man, if you don't have to start Kyler this week, I would not start him. But I am starting that of Marv, and I am starting that of McBride. Marv should have had another touchdown this week. He was down at the one yard line, he's looking great again. And of course, McBride, just absolutely fabulous.

SPEAKER_03:

Talk about the Colts here, man. I mean, is there anybody you're not starting on the Colts? I mean, you're obviously starting the big guys, Pittman. Pittman's been great. I mean, he's been very, very quietly great, you know? Yeah, what'd you call this? Fantasy gold, quiet fantasy gold. I mean, you gotta love that. Yeah. Um, and obviously, uh uh Tyler Warren, you know, my tight end champion, just looks fantastic, man. He's everything we were hoping he would be. Uh, what do we do? Are there any other receivers though on this team? Who's the two right now? I know Alec Pierce has been out. Yeah. Josh Downs has struggled. Totally. I think he's the I think he's the more talented of the other three receivers out there, uh, with Adnai Mitchell and um, you know, Alec Pierce and Josh Downs. What do we do with these guys? Are any of these guys viable right now in fantasy?

SPEAKER_01:

I'll tell you what. If Alec Pierce plays, then yes, he is the one who's the viable option. I think Adnai, after what happened, I mean, he had a great game, but then that drop in the end zone, not a drop, but he dropped the ball as he was walking in for a touchdown. That really left a stain on this, on him for this particular team, knowing how deep they are from a receiver standpoint. But outside of that, John, no, I'm not gonna fire up Josh Downs. And no, I'm not gonna fire up Adnai Mitchell. For me, it's solely Pidman. It's the big three JT Pidman and that of Warren.

SPEAKER_03:

Let's take a look at that Browns and Steelers game. I think the Browns are still flying home from London right now. Uh hopefully they can get some good practice in this week. With a rookie quarterback. Fantastic. No big deal. It's just the Steelers at the Steelers. That sounds great. All right, what are we doing with this game, man?

SPEAKER_01:

Hey, I'll tell you what. If you if you uh if you got Judkins, you're loving it, you're firing him up. And honestly, I'm starting Fannon this this week in deep leagues. Now, let me be crystal clear. Not in a 10-team league, probably not in a 12-team league, but 14-16 team leagues. Maybe if you get a kicker with a tight end, I'm starting Fannon. And what we saw, a touchdown, he was four for four in the first uh half, didn't get a damn target in the second half, which is terrible. Terrible job by the offense and the coaching and everything like that. But I love those two guys. What we're seeing is Jerry Judy worthless. I mean, he can't catch a ball to save his life. He's not a big focal point of this offense at this point in time. So for for me, it's just those two guys at this point in time.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, you gotta see you gotta wait and see Dylan Gabriel settle down a bit. I mean, he was he was sailing some balls out there and not really throwing them deep. I'm talking about sailing 20-yard passes out of the back of the end zone, not you know, 50-yard bombs, you know. Yeah, I agree with that 100%. But Judkins, baby, does he look good? Oh, he's everything we were hoping he was gonna be, man. He looked great out there. I got to see it live. It was wonderful. He even had that uh, what was it, like a 60-yard touchdown that was called back?

SPEAKER_00:

Oh yeah.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, let's be fair. It was called back because two guys were holding, which means that's why it was a touchdown.

SPEAKER_01:

I mean, I was pissed, but it was totally valid.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, oh yeah, yeah. I I didn't hate that. All right, last game here. Let's talk about the Rams and the Ravens, man. Can the Ravens make any kind of comeback here? Because the Rams are certainly playing really good football, man. No.

SPEAKER_01:

The Rams are playing. Is it gonna be bad? Yeah, it's gonna be bad. Uh presumptively that Lamar doesn't play, guys. It's gonna be bad. I don't see how the Ravens defense is even gonna come close to stopping this juggernaut of an offense. I don't even see how this Ravens offense is gonna come close to even putting up Cooper Rush against this Rams defense. Jared Durce is coming off that edge like a bat out of hell, man. I mean, just crazy. So for me, no, and here's what's interesting. So breaking it down, looking at the Ravens, you gotta start Derrick Henry. You have to, I get it, but this is gross. This is not a good start, this is terrible in DFS, you stay away. And here's the other thing that's really concerning for Derrick Henry owners, guys. He hasn't had over 50 yards rushing since week one. In one game, he hasn't had over 50 yards rushing since week one. This is King Henry, okay. This is not normal, this is a problem. Okay, and then you start looking at Zay Flowers. Well, Zay must be doing much better. Actually, no. This is a bad week to start Zay Flowers as well. His stat line in a positive game script last week, okay, they were getting their shit beat in 44 to 10. It's a positive game script to get junk, garbage time stuff, and he was five targets, five receptions, 72 yards, but one play he had 56 yards. Other than that, it would have been abysmal. So, guys, what I'm saying is this is not great for the Ravens, but you're firing up everybody on the Rams. Everybody.

SPEAKER_03:

Just jump, just piling on. You know what? Dog pile on the Ravens. I like it. You know what? And as a Bronx fan, I don't know. I don't hate it. Good. Good. Screw you. Week one. Week one, we were saying that these guys were on a completely different level. They're playing a different sport than everyone else. This is what happens with reality, guys. Welcome, welcome to the shit show, bud. Join join the club. Yeah, we've been there. I don't feel bad. We're currently there. We're both one and Ravens tears. We're tied with the Browns. Good job, Ravens. And you're down a game to the Bengals.

SPEAKER_01:

Who just traded for Joe Flacco.

SPEAKER_03:

Who just made a blockbuster trade to save their season, guys? The AFC North is about to turn on. Hi. I never would have thought this used to be one of the best divisions in football, if not the best, uh, toughest division in football. The Steelers Aaron Rodgers is at the top right now, just going, what's up, bitches?

SPEAKER_01:

Big old nuts on that dude right now.

SPEAKER_03:

I never thought we'd be saying that this week, man. All right. All right. Thank you so much, guys. That is the show for the week. Really difficult filming in Germany. I'm not gonna lie. I keep getting notifications. My connection's weird.
