Stakes don’t get higher than Week 17, and the board has never been messier. We cut through the noise with a clean plan: avoid the quarterback minefields, press your edges on concentrated offenses, and use matchup leverage where it actually moves the needle. From a full fade on the QB-less Chiefs to riding the scorching Stafford–Puka stack under the lights, we map every game to the safest paths and the smartest ceiling swings.

We break down why Jacoby Brissett is a sharp, steady stream against a soft Bengals defense, how Trevor Lawrence has flipped the switch under Liam Cohen, and where Caleb Williams can push for a title-winning ceiling versus San Francisco. At running back, we spotlight the plays that won’t leave you guessing: RJ Harvey in a script-friendly spot, David Montgomery in a classic NFC North grinder, and Ramondre Stevenson as a volume hammer if TreVeyon Henderson sits. We also flag traps like Bucky Irving’s red zone siphon and draw up deep pivots like Blake Corum for managers who need a sneaky flex.

Pass catchers are all about funnels this week. Fire up Puka Nakua, Mike Evans, and Chris Olave with confidence. Lean into Dalton Kincaid and Hunter Henry for tight end leverage while steering clear of roulette receiver rooms that can sink you with two targets. We also tackle the trickiest calls: Justin Jefferson’s risk with a backup QB, Herbert vs. an elite Texans unit, and which Seahawks backs you can start together without sweating the split.

Set your lineup with conviction. Subscribe, share the show with a league-mate who needs a last-minute pivot, and drop your toughest start/sit in the comments—let’s win this trophy together.

SPEAKER_03:

Week 17, Super Bowl week, guys. We hope you're in your Super Bowl today. Frankie and I are going to help you win that Super Bowl. We're going to give you some news, some injury news, and then we're going to get right into the full slate, give you starts and spits from every game. Let's go.

SPEAKER_02:

Alright, alright, all right. Welcome to the show. This is the Frankly Fantasy Football Podcast. We are your hosts, Frankie and Johnny. Welcome in, man.

SPEAKER_03:

What's happening, Johnny boy? Alright, I know it was stressful, but how did you end up, man? That that semifinal game really screwed a lot of people. Where'd you end up, buddy?

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, unfortunately, my watch has ended. So, listen, man. I had Trevion Henderson. You can't win with a guy getting hurt early in the second quarter. You know, I had Drake London as well, who ended up putting up dog shit and half PPR. And you know what, man, I ended up losing by 17. So I'll tell you what, those two guys alone, that hurts. That hurts. But you know what I mean? Still playing for third place. There you go.

SPEAKER_03:

Go get yourself a hundred bucks. Go get yourself a hundred bucks. Yeah, yeah. How about in our big family league? I was the one seed. You were the five, I think you were. Yep. The number eight seed and the number six seed are going to the Super Bowl. Hey, and that was, I mean, there were some juggernaut teams on the city. Juggernaut teams, too. So, man, congrats to those guys. Shout out to Jesse. Shout out to your brother Drew. Yeah. Good to see them in the Super Bowl. Hey, one thing I will say though the stack of the year is Matthew Stafford and Puka. Puka! Wow. Wow. Look at all of your teams. Look at everybody that you're playing against in your Super Bowl, in your leagues. And I'd be willing to bet that Stafford and Puka stack are showing up everywhere. Definitely. Unbelievable, man. Unbelievable stack this year. Congratulations to you, Drew. I hope that stack wins you the fantasy trophy this year. Get your name on that trophy this year, Drew. Let's go, baby. All right, Frankie, we got a great show today. We're wrapping up the Super Bowl week. Getting everybody ready here. We've got a little bit of news and notes. We're going to get into the full slate of starts and sits. I want to know what Frankie thinks about every single one of these games. We're going to rapid fire through everything, guys, and talk about guys that you may be starting in your Super Bowl. So we're going to give you some tips and tricks here. So let's do this. Frankie, let's first, let's get to the news, baby.

SPEAKER_01:

Absolutely lost.

SPEAKER_03:

News and notes. Alright, guys, now again, we're focusing this news on your Super Bowl. So if you're not going to be playing these guys, we're going to move right on from these guys here. All right, we got it. We got a tough one here. Lamar Jackson. I know he just absolutely destroyed people's souls. Crushed you. Crushed your souls. I know Libby's soul got crushed as well. My girlfriend was counting on Lamar. Uh Lamar's out with a back injury, left the game. Going to be questionable for this week, guys. Coming into your Super Bowl, I am not feeling great about starting Lamar Jackson. So if somehow you made it there and you've got Lamar Jackson, I certainly would look at some streaming options. Frankie and I will give you some options here coming down the pike. All right, Jordan Love, quarterback for the Packers. He's out with a concussion right now, guys. You're gonna have to watch that short week. Let's see if he gets out there, but not a good sign. JJ McCarthy, it's quarterback hell right now, guys. Seriously, JJ McCarthy for the uh quarterback for the Vikings, out with a hand injury right now. Maybe looking at who's the backup here again, Frank? Max Brosmer. Max Brosmer. We might get another Max Bros. So does that mean basically Justin Jefferson's value may be destroyed for the Super Bowl? Yes. Yeah. Oh, God, that's not what everybody wants to hear, man. All right, Marcus Mariota, another quarterback issue here. Quarterback for the commanders, man. We got a hand and a quad, and he's just got everything going on right now, man. So heads are falling off. What's the status? I know you're following this team very closely. What's the status with Marcus Mariota? And is this a guy you can consider? If you've got him as your quarterback, it's probably a super flex.

SPEAKER_00:

What are your plans for him this week? Guys, he's day-to-day right now. And it's a and it's a it's enough of an injury to where it certainly is causing concern because they have the early game for the Thursday slate. So, guys, if he cannot go, you have to drop him. Meaning, drop him. There's nothing else after this week. Look for an additional streaming option. We gave you a few last week. We'll give you a few this week again, but you may need to look elsewhere.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, Gardner Minshew, backup quarterback for the Kansas City Chiefs. He's out, man. Yeah, that's that's a torn ACL. He's he's gone here, buddy. Uh, can you give me educate me here, Frankie, on who the third string quarterback is for the Chiefs, man? And uh, who's this guy that's gonna be starting this week? Frankie, introduce me to a new player in the NFL in week 17. Who is starting for the Kansas City Chiefs this week?

SPEAKER_00:

Oh, for the Chiefs? I'm glad you asked, John. It's Chris. I can't even say this. Alla Doken. Ola Doken.

SPEAKER_01:

So Doken. Is that like a Ryan?

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, so we just have to pause and uh go off the screen here to uh look up who the backup quarterback is for the Kansas City Chiefs. Yeah. Bottom line is, guys, here's the news. Uh, all your Chiefs are dead here for your Super Bowl. They're done. They're done. Starting anybody here, guys. Uh Rasheed Rice has a concussion as well, so doesn't look good. He would be the only guy that I consider really thrown out there, even Kelsey. But if you're a Kelsey owner, let's just get right there. You got a Dukin starting at uh quarterback.

SPEAKER_00:

You rolling Kelsey out there, man, in your Super Bowl right now? No, no, I'm not. And I'll tell you why, because when Minshew went down and uh Ola Doken went in, Kelsey ended up having one catch for on four targets for six yards against the Titans guys in a positive game scripted game, meaning they were down, they needed to throw the ball, and it was bad. We had people asking, hey, do we start Kelsey over XYZ? Well, of course, we would have thought Gardner Minchie would have been the quarterback. And had, you know, had we not known that every quarterback for the Chiefs were going to be tearing their ACLs this year, the, you know, it would uh it would have changed a little bit. So yeah, man, it's a little bit tough. Tough sledding for the Chiefs.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I'm looking for other options in my Super Bowl, guys. You might want to have to sit the Chiefs this week, man. Uh, all right, uh, Josh Jacobs, Frank, lay it out for us a little bit what's going on with Josh Jacobs. Because I swear to God, this guy's questionable every single week. I'm not sure what to do with him. Now's the week where it's very important. Is he going to play this weekend?

SPEAKER_00:

Guys, so he is trending towards playing, but here's the problem is that when he ended up fumbling um in that game against the Bears, Emmanuel Wilson comes in and was actually the better runner that particular game. And so it was almost as if it was a punishment kind of thing. If for him fumbling and then Wilson kind of came in and started taking the reins, of course, uh LaFleur ended up coming out and saying, No, it's not punishment. Bullshit. It was punishment to some degree. Yes, Wilson might have been running good, but you have Josh Jacobs. He is absolutely the premiere back there. So for me, man, you guys who have him, aka Drew, you gotta pay attention to him this particular week because as he is getting closer and closer to game time, things might change a bit. But for right now, it looks like he is trending in a positive way just to play this week.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, we've got a couple of uh concussions you're gonna have to watch alongside Rasheed Rice here this week uh and Jordan Love. We've got Trevion Henderson with a head injury concussion real bad. He got hit hard, man. Gonna have to pay attention to that one. Uh Kayshawn Booty, wide receiver for the New England Patriots. Sneaky value there. Yeah. He's out with a concussion right now as well. And Pat Bryant, wide receiver for the Broncos. My God. Uh Bo Nick's just got this dude killed, man. That was a Oh, that was brutal. And that was in a garbage time throw, too. That was he laid him out, got him killed, man. But Pat Bryant's out with a concussion. Really bad one. Uh, gonna have to watch that. We'll have news on Fridays with Frankie this week, I'm sure, on some of these concussions. Yep. Some of these guys coming back in, whether they're gonna play or not. Uh, I don't even want to bring out the bell because it's the last week of the season. This one sucks. This sucks, man. Quinshawn Judkins. This sucks. Terrible, terrible injury. Kind of reminded me of the Chubb injury. Yeah. Just one that you could not watch at all. Uh, multiple things done here. Uh broken leg. Um, I think he had an fractured fibula, dislocated ankle, fractured ankle. I mean, it was bad. It was bad. It was bad. Blew the leg absolutely up. Yeah. So his status moving forward, even, is going to be in question, which sucks really bad. But Quinshawn Judkins will be out for your Super Bowl. Uh, Jordan Mason left the game, running back for the Vikings, left the game with an ankle injury. Gonna have to watch that. Kamani Videll, backup quarterback or backup running back with uh Amarian Hampton in that Chargers backfield, left the game with a neck injury. Tough sledding this week, anyway. You're not gonna be starting Videll, but it could make a difference for Amari and Hampton. But there are, they are playing that Houston Texans defense this week. So gonna be tough. We'll talk about it. Uh, Romeo Dubbs, wide receiver for the char or for the uh Packers, out with a wrist injury. Keep an eye on his status this week. And Ryan Florinoy, the guy that came out of left field in Dallas, scored a couple times this past week. Crazy. Out with a knee injury this week. Good. Maybe he'll stop vulturing touchdowns from Pickens and from CeeDee Lamb. Okay. All right. All right, man. Let's get into the week ahead. That is the news here. Let's look at the full slate of games here, Frankie. Let's start on Thursday. We got Christmas Day. Look at the Cowboys and Lions. Are these guys just the holiday, you know, teams or what? They play on Thanksgiving Christmas Day? That's so weird, right? Okay. First game, Thursday. All right. Cowboys at Commanders. Cowboys are favored by seven points. We got a 50 and a half point over under. Somebody's going to be playing some underdog this week. I like that. All right. So let's do it, Frankie. Cowboys at Commanders. Let's start with the home team. We've got questions already with the quarterback situation. Let's make it real easy for the Commanders owners here. In your Super Bowl, are you starting any of these guys, man?

SPEAKER_00:

No. The only guy, the only guy I would consider is TMC if Marcus Mariota is playing. Scary Terry, guys. If Marcus Mariota is out, you know, Debo Samuel becomes much more ineffective in my eyes. But, you know, you could look to Chris Rodriguez in a very deep league. We're talking 16 team leagues, but John for the 8, 10, and even 12s. No, I'm not risking any commanders this week.

SPEAKER_03:

All right. Well, let's go right over to the Cowboys. Man, there's definitely some value in this Cowboys. Firing up everybody. You're firing up everybody. Yeah, yeah. Everybody. Even uh how deep are you going here? I mean, you're going with Pickens, you're going with CD Lamb, Javante Williams, Smash Star at the commanders. Yeah. Ferguson down. Turn Ferguson. You got Ferguson, baby. All right. So when you say everybody, you mean literally everybody. Literally everybody. All right. I like that. All right. Let's go on to the other game here on Christmas Day. We've got the Lions at the Vikings. Lions favored by six points, 44 and a half point over under. This could be a little bit of a trek game here. I'm not sure there's going to be as much scoring in this game as everybody thinks there might be. Let's start with the Lions, Frankie. Where are you going to go with your Super Bowl roster with the Lions offense?

SPEAKER_00:

Guys, where I'm going to stop is actually at the J Mo line. So what that means is you're firing up Jared Goff, you're firing up Amon Ra, you're firing up Gibbs. You could even fire up Montgomery here. Um, I think this isn't a bad play. If you need, like, let's just say you had Trevion Henderson, you've also been sitting on that of David Montgomery. I think that this is a viable um option here, just because I could see GameScript getting a little bit out of control. To your point, John, this could be 30 points from the from the Lions and six points from the Vikings because Max Brosmer is starting, Jordan Mason's banged up, they're going to be keying in on Aaron Jones. So for me, guys, I think after that Montgomery and J-Mo line, that's where I'm stopping. I'm not going to Tesla or anybody else, even though he scored, shout out to him. But that's kind of where I'm starting and stopping with the Lions.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I think this could be a sneaky week for you to start David Montgomery. Yeah. It just feels like one of those games where they're going to be running the ball a lot. Um, it's an NFC North showdown, backup quarterback team. Indoors, yeah. I could see this being, you know, a grounded pound type of game. This could be the game where you see Monty get two touchdowns. You know, I may not be a ton of yards, but yeah, I'm all about that. And you do feel good about starting J-Mo in your Super Bowl.

SPEAKER_00:

I do. I do. I think he's been excellent uh so far. So again, he's a little bit scary, certainly more uh boom bust-ish kind of guy, but man, it's hard to deny what the synergy is between him and Jared Goff as of the last four weeks. All right, then we go over to the Vikings here.

SPEAKER_03:

I mean, this this is scary. I mean, this is terrifying. Yeah, it's really bad. Jordan Mason might not play. He's banged up. I wouldn't feel great about putting him out there in your Super Bowl anyway. That leaves us options with Aaron Jones and Justin Jefferson. I mean, obviously with Brock Masner, Mass, Max Brosmer? Brock Masner. There you go. Yeah, either way, it doesn't matter. I'm not gonna say the guy's name very much anyway. There's no way with him out there, you're looking at a Jordan Addison. Uh no. You know, you're not looking at a you know, a Nailer or anything like that. But JJ and Aaron Jones, what are you doing here, man? Are you playing those guys in this situation?

SPEAKER_00:

Listen, here's the deal with Justin Jefferson, and this is something I want to list off. This past week, okay, he ended up having a very good game for what JJ has done. What do I mean by that, John? He ended up having eight targets, six receptions, 85 yards. It finally hit the double digit mark. But here's why I'm saying in the way I'm saying it finally hit the double digit mark. He hadn't hit double digits in half PPR since week nine. Okay, since week nine. So what I'm getting at here, guys, sure, Detroit's a decent matchup. You probably have to start or want to start JJ. It is an absolute risk. It's very risky. So here's what I'll tell you. If you want to go ahead. I personally would struggle actually doing it. I went on record last week and said, hot take, I am not starting Ashton Genty. And look, Ashton Genty went off against an incredible defense, and I was completely wrong. So for this, this is kind of that similar situation to where we could see Max Brosmer go ape shit with JJ and it just be the JJ show, meaning eight receptions, 112 yards, and a touchdown, something like that. And you would be pissed off if you if you ended up sitting him. So I'll leave that to the viewers' discretion. I would lean towards not starting him, but you know, you probably have to. And then in terms of Aaron Jones, man, yeah, I would probably say he's right up there with the kind of a Montgomery-esque level of a start. He could have a decent game. This is a decent matchup. However, game script could be a problem. So for me, again, if you you only use Aaron Jones if you have if you need him, um, in case there's an injury or something like that.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, let's move on here. We've got Thursday night game on Christmas Day. We've got the Broncos at the Chiefs. Now could have been. What could have been?

SPEAKER_00:

Like, what could have been that this is a game?

SPEAKER_03:

This what this could have been, it could have meant something, you know? And now we go in here. The Chiefs at home are predicted to lose by 12 and a half points at home on Christmas Day. It's been a long time, my friend, since we've been able to say something like that. Seriously. 36 and a half point over under. So Vegas does not want any piece of this game whatsoever. Uh, what are we looking at here, Matt? I mean, we talked about it before against the Broncos, especially. You can't start any Chiefs, right?

SPEAKER_00:

Absolutely not, John. You are not starting any Chiefs whatsoever. Sit them against this defense on Christmas Day in division, wanting to get some revenge. This is not a good game for any chief.

SPEAKER_03:

All right. Well, we've we've established that on the Chiefs here, okay. Maybe Harrison Butker might be the only Chiefs. Maybe he can go. Uh, Broncos, let's talk about this now. Are you rolling out my champion, Bo Knicks, against this Chiefs defense in Kansas City for your Super Bowl?

SPEAKER_00:

I'll tell you what, I don't I don't really like this matchup for Bo Nicks. Like, I'll be fully honest, just because this could get wildly out of control. Like they could end up just ball hawking, they're running the the clock out type of thing from a Broncos standpoint. But with that being said, I would probably start Bo Nicks. It's hard not to start Bo Nicks after the last few weeks. So again, knowing that this is a divisional game, this could be a feather in Bo Nick's cap. Really still have an opportunity to win the AFC um as a whole if New England drops the next two games. So, guys, I mean, yeah, Bo Nicks, you can you can look to start him, though I wouldn't say it's a massively great start.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, they could run the ball. I mean, exactly. They could they could blow this team out, but the stat lines might not be very impressive. This could be a defensive game, control the ball, control the clock, run it. Exactly. Speaking of, let's look at the running game. Is this an RJ Harvey smash start?

SPEAKER_00:

Yes.

SPEAKER_03:

Yes. This is what you've been waiting for. Yeah, yeah, I agree. What about the passing game here with uh uh Denver, man? Is it Cortland Sutton only? We've got Pat Bryant. Concussion questionable now for this game. Do you see any other pieces in this passing game besides Cortland Sutton that you feel good about?

SPEAKER_00:

Guys, after the bye week, it's been all Cortland Sutton. Before the bye week, it was Troy Franklin, and Cortland Sutton was certainly on the back burner, and they were using him as kind of a pawn piece. But after that bye week, we've really seen the ascension happen. So for me, look at it in this sense Troy Franklin could certainly hit Paiter. I mean, we've seen it, we've seen his target share be boom all the way to like phenomenal, but we've also seen him be has a really low floor as of late. So for me, I agree, John. I'm only gonna go Cortland Sutton. If you're in a 16 or 14 team league, though, and you need a piece, a playable option, maybe it's flex, you could go Troy Franklin. Though again, level set expectation. The only reason why I'm saying that is because of Trent McDuffie. If he is over top of that of Cortland Sutton, Cortland Sutton could have a tough sledding kind of day to where then they shift um everything to then Troy Franklin and RJ Harvey. But I'm gonna set that to the side. I'm going Cortland Sutton and RJ Harvey. All right. Sounds great.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, let's get we got two Saturday games. Let's go to Saturday here. Right. We got Saturday games coming up. I love it. Texans at Chargers. Wow, I can't believe how meaningful this game actually is. Chargers are favored at home by two and a half points, 39 and a half point overunder, two excellent defenses. I think this game could be very scary for fantasy purposes because of the defenses. Vegas thinks it's going to be a little low scoring under 40 points here. Frankie, where are we going? Let's start with the Texans. The very little bit of value they have in fantasy.

SPEAKER_00:

Where is it? Guys, there's only two guys I'm willing to start this week for the Texans. The first is Dalton Schultz. He has absolutely been the red zone target for that of CJ Stroud. And number two, it's Nico Collins. Right. Yeah, I know he had his subpar kind of week this past week, but right, we've seen him really taken off as of late. So for me, man, those are The only two guys, including that of CJ Stroud, the running back, set them to the side. I'm not worried about them this week. Yeah, I have to agree with you on that one.

SPEAKER_03:

What about the Chargers? This is where it's very difficult. This is such a trap game. A lot of these Charger players got you to your Super Bowl, and now they're playing the number one defense in the NFL. What are we doing with this guy, man? I mean, we know Kamani Videll with a neck injury is going to be questionable. So that could leave Amarian Hampton wide open in the backfield here. Is it a guy you're playing? And do you have that much confidence against this Texans defense, man?

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, so that is a guy I am playing, though I am very nervous, right? Because the Texans defense is that good. They are truly that good. But for uh when you're playing against the Texans defense, if you don't establish the run, they are going to tee off on the quarterback with Daniil Hunter and Will Anderson coming off the edges. So absolutely, especially with the injury to Kamani Videll, you got to fire up Amari and Hampton. And then, guys, from the from the other aspect of who else to start, I mean, it's really hard not to start Justin Herbert. And I'm saying that because, right, he's coming off of a 300-yard game and things like that. But here's the deal against Dallas. But here's the deal. When you look at the games prior to against Kansas City and against Philly and against Vegas and even against Jacksonville, guys, he hasn't eclipsed 15 fantasy points in any of those prior four weeks outside of Dallas. So when looking at this, you could go Herbert. I personally, though, would be sitting Herbert this week. I think that there's better streaming options. We'll hit on that. The first guy that comes to mind, Jacoby Brissett. Jacoby Brissett is the guy. You can even look at Tyler Shug, guys. This dude's on his uh with his legs and his ability to rush, that gives you a decent floor. For me, Herbert, there's so there's so much risk in this play, knowing that the Texans have to win in order to get their playoff hopes through. So for me, I'm actually sitting Herbert. I'm willing to start O'Marian Hampton. And then from the receiver perspective, good luck. Because it's a it's roulette. That's honestly how it feels, John. It feels like it's roulette, Russian roulette, right? Put the bullets in, put the bullet in, you spin it around and you point the gun and you fire it. Man, I don't know who's gonna end up hitting. We saw Quentin Johnston look like Megatron, right? Uh this past week. And then he goes looking like absolutely shit the following week, and then it becomes Laddie, and then it becomes Orlando Gadson, um, or London or Ronde Glit uh Gadson. So for me, man, it's it's truly Russian roulette. Pick your receiver, hopefully it hits. Just know that this is a very tough defense to play against.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, let's go on to another game on Saturday here. We've got the Ravens at the Packers. Packers favorite at home by two and a half, over-unders 40 and a half right now. Okay, so we've got probably super exciting game. Yep. I know probably two backup quarterbacks here coming in. Let's start with the Ravens because I think this is a little bit easier, a little fewer options for us here. Lamar, let's assume Lamar might be out. Let's assume Lamar does come in and play, but he's banged up. What do you like on this Ravens team? And again, we're playing Ravens at the Packers. This is not a uh a smash play for anybody on this Ravens offense. What are you thinking here?

SPEAKER_00:

Guys, there's two, there's two. Even if Huntley's playing or Lamar's playing, Zay Flowers. So Zay Flowers is the possession guy. He runs the uh the middle short routes really well for that of Snoop Huntley if he ends up playing. And yes, we've seen Zay Flowers be really solid from the deep end perspective, but that's not Huntley's game. So that's why I like Zay Flowers from a full PPR standpoint, could be Diamond in the rough this particular week. And then certainly King Henry. You just have to fire him up. I mean, he's just that guy. You're not gonna sit him. And without Micah Parsons, unfortunately, this Packers' defense looks a little bit different. So those would be only the two guys, even including Andrews, even looking at likely, even looking at Rashad Bateman. These are not super great matchup options, knowing the quarterback issues that are at hand.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, let's go to the Packers here, man. Now, Jordan Love, again, concussion plays on Saturday. Not likely to see him out there. I think it'd be tough. Let's assume he's not out there, and let's look at these pass catchers for the Packers. Where do you want to go that way?

SPEAKER_00:

So for me, man, it's you're going to look at Jaden Reed. I think that he gives you the best floor option, right? From that standpoint. But then you have to look at Christian Watson and Romeo Dubs. Because Romeo Dubs is showing really good synergy with uh Willis. And so, okay, do you overthink it for the Super Bowl at that point and be like, I'm actually going to play Romeo Dubs and maybe a deeper league? I think there's viability there if Dubs is healthy. Remember, we just went through the injuries and he's a little bit banged up. So that's why for me, I think the surefire shot, at least for a high floor, is Jaden Reed. I think if you need a bigger boom type of play, you could go Christian Watson, though remember, he was banged up coming into this particular week with a chest injury and actually performed pretty bad. And then Romeo Dubs ended up taking off. And so for me, those basically dubs and Watson, use at your own risk. I would I would be okay with Jaden Reed. Now, from the running back standpoint, John, you're of course firing up Josh Jacobs. I don't care what anybody says. If he's starting and available, you have to fire him up. He's too good. But if you're in a deep league, you could potentially look at Wilson. They are feeding the ball to Emmanuel Wilson quite a bit. And he actually outplayed and outperformed to a degree that of Josh Jacobs this past week. And so if Jacobs continues to be a cog in the machine or a problem, they could look to a change of pace back to offset some of the craziness, knowing Malik Wilson could be the quarterback. So again, you could look to do it. It's a longer type of play, only recommended for deeper leagues. So I guess the only two guys I'm really looking at is Josh Jacobs and Jaden Reed.

SPEAKER_03:

Football season is in full swing, and Underdog is the best place to get in on all the action. Playing underdog, it's super easy, guys. Just pick whether your favorite players are going to go higher or lower on stats like rushing yards, receptions, touchdowns, so much more. With Underdog Unwrapped, you'll unwrap tons of promos all throughout the holidays. We've got boosts, gimme picks, deal reveals, and even some surprises sprinkled in. Now is the best time to get in the game. Speaking of, Frankie, what kind of pick'ems do we have for people this week?

SPEAKER_00:

Guys, this week on Underdog, we're looking at two particular games, both on Christmas Day, to get you in the holiday spirit. The first game we are looking at is the Detroit Lions at Minnesota, we're targeting Jamison Williams higher than three and a half receptions. And then it's going to bring us to actually the first game of the Christmas Day, that being Washington Commanders versus that of the Dallas Cowgirls. And with that being said, we're looking at Chris Rodriguez higher than 34.5 rushing yards versus the Cowboys.

First one on Sunday. Cardinals at Bengals. Okay, we got. I like when shitty teams come up against each other. Yes. That means fantasy points of five. Okay. Bengals are favored at home by seven points, 53 and a half point overunder. Let's go. Alright, I know there's options you like in this game. Let's start with the Cardinals. Give me your Jacoby Brissett love. I want to hear about it.

SPEAKER_00:

No, all the Jacoby Brissett love coming towards your way, baby. Smacking you in the face with it. Yeah, he's the guy. He's the guy I've had I have circled for this week. Cincinnati Bengals are terrible defense. It's so putrid that anybody's scoring against them. And Jacoby Brissett, man, I don't know. I just am a huge believer in this guy. I don't know why he just is always performing. I'm not saying he's going to be a franchise quarterback, but what I'm saying is he's like a Jameis Winston of fantasy football, right? He's gonna get you some points. So for me, man, I love this matchup with Jacoby Brissett. I'm starting him over many, many others at the quarterback position for your Super Bowl. And then when you think about who he's throwing the ball to, guys, Michael Wilson is the number one on that team. We saw it. Marvin Harrison was there, right? And they, yes, they still targeted him, but it was Michael Wilson. He's the one scoring, he's the one that they're drawing the routes up for. This dude is actually kind of a special cat, is what we're seeing. So for me, man, I'm firing up Michael Wilson. You're obviously firing up Trey McBride, and you're firing up, I think you have to in this particular matchup, Marvin Harrison. I think it's too good of a matchup to let him be on the sidelines in your 12 team leagues. Now, if you're in an eight to 10 team, John, you can make an argument you're not rolling with Marvin Harrison. And I would be fine with that. But uh, you know, in these other 12, 14, you're probably gonna need to roll them out. The other call out here, you're firing up Michael Carter with confidence. Guys, this is a guy that was looking very, very good this past week. He ended up getting you a solid floor and half PPR was about 6.4 points. And listen, that was against a much tougher matchup. So for this week, looking at the Bengals at the Bengals, guys, the Cardinals are gonna run the ball, and Michael Carter is gonna be leading the charge along with Di Mercado and kind of backing him up a bit. But I am a big fan of Michael Carter this week as well.

SPEAKER_03:

I think you have to be invested in this passing game with Arizona against Cincinnati, bad. You have to be. Looking at Jacoby Brissett, since he came on, he's barely had a week under 20 points. Barely. 21. 19, 24, 19, 23, 18, 20, 20, 21. Last week was his worst week, actually, since he's been the starter against Atlanta with 11 points. But I mean, just the guy's been an absolute stud. QB 10, QB4, QB eight, two weeks in a row, QB 12. Yeah, I'm streaming Jacoby Brissett in my role this week. I absolutely love that, Frank. Great call. Um, all right, let's go to uh go to the Bengals. What are we doing here? Hey remember the Bengals.

SPEAKER_00:

Last week, John, last week you looked at me and you go, Are you willing in your semis to say that you would be willing to start Joe Burrow after that week? And I didn't even hesitate. I said, Hell yes, I would be. And look what happened. Over 300 yards, four touchdowns, went nuclear. Dude was balling. And I see this happening the same way. I think the Bengals look to wrap up this season in a very positive manner. Whether it's, you know, they may be looking to trade Burrow in the offseason, the due to Burrow wanting to push that, or maybe they're looking at this in the sense of giving him a reason to stay. Either way, you look at this, I see the Bengals wrapping up the season in a positive light. They're at home against the Cardinals. This isn't that great of a Cardinals team. You can certainly throw on these guys. You got Jamar Chase healthy, you got T. Higgins back who looked great. You got Chase Brown who's looking phenomenal. So for me, man, you're starting the trifecta of the Brown, Chase, and Higgins, and you are firing up Joey B to lead you to that promised land in your Super Bowl.

SPEAKER_03:

Joe Burrow is so frustrating. I'm just looking at his past four games since he's come back here. And you know, I mean, the guy in week 14, QB three. Last week, QB five. The week I needed him to do it against Baltimore, he was the worst. It was the worst. In between that shit game, he had four touchdowns each other game on the other side of it. So it just absolutely kills me, Matt. And you know what? He's gonna win somebody their Super Bowl. Totally is. He totally is. I know. It's not me, unfortunately. All right, let's keep going here. Let's stay in the AFC North here. We've got the Steelers, the Browns. Woo! We got Miles Guerrera chasing one. Come on, baby. And to make against the Steelers against Rogers. It just feels much, much sweeter. That's so good. All right, this game's in Cleveland. Probably gonna see some weather here. Could be interesting. Steelers favored by four and a half. Real low-scoring game, according to Vegas here. 34 and a half point over under. All right, let's start with the Steelers, man. Where are we going with the fantasy points against a very difficult Browns D, but the Browns D has been letting people score some points and get some yards recently, man. What are you thinking with the Steelers offense?

SPEAKER_00:

Guys, so remember, DK Metcalf is suspended, right? For the incident that happened against Detroit. He's suspended for two weeks. We will not see DK in this game. So we gotta really put that into perspective. So I'm not starting Aaron Rodgers. I'll put that out there. We are not starting Aaron Rodgers, but there are two guys I am starting. It is Kenneth Gainwell and Jalen Warren. Both of those guys are phenomenal depth or assets in your fantasy uh Super Bowl, guys. It's crazy to even say Gainwell, but Gainwell outside of last week has been outperforming Warren. And we've seen him get more involved in the in the passing attack. So for me, I think this is gonna be a lot of check downs to both Warren and that of Gainwell. I think that knowing that Miles is gonna be coming hot and fast off the edge, they're gonna need to get the ball out quick. So that's why I love both of those backs. The other guy that I kind of have circled, but is totally a risk. I will be 100% honest. Tight end position, big brute, Darnell Washington, big 6'8, 300 pounds, absolute terrorist, basically, for that of the uh Pittsburgh Steelers. He has viability at the tight end position. So very, very interesting for the Steelers. I'm telling you, the tight ends are gonna score two touchdowns in this game.

SPEAKER_03:

Somebody just don't know who it's gonna be. Fryermuth, Jenny Smith, Darnell Washington. Exactly. Exactly. I think you're right, though. I think the play is gonna be with the running backs because with DK out, I think you're gonna see a lot more play. Probably both running backs in on the field at the same time. Definitely with multiple tight ends, and you're gonna see, you know, guys coming off the side. I think there's gonna be multiple chip block roll off. Yep, exactly. Exactly. But it's gonna make it difficult to predict. I'd roll with the two running backs, and I'd leave it at that as well with the Steelers. What about the Browns? No quench on Judkins. Um, yeah, it does suck. You know, the passing game, not really anything you can trust outside of Harold Fannon Jr. Is that a guy you're looking at playing in this game?

SPEAKER_00:

Is he the only one? John, there's a really two. There's only two, and one for sure, and it's Harold Fannon. Like Harold Fannon is putting up a record break, record-breaking-ish type of season from a Browns franchise perspective. He's been phenomenal with David and Joku banged up. He is the guy that they're going to. The other guy that's very, very, very interesting is Dylan Sampson. Guys, without Quinshaon Judkins, we have already seen with Quinshaon Judkins him, Dylan Sampson be the check down target and the screen target for Shador Sampson. Now, with him having kind of that lead role, and then we'll see another running back by the name of Samson for the Cleveland Browns, probably be more that brute force kind of guy. It is Dylan Sampson's stuff. Or excuse me, Sanders, the other running back being Sanders for the Cleveland Browns. But Dylan Sampson, man, could be very interesting, especially in full PPR types of leagues. Very, very sneaky start in deep leagues. Actually, I would I'm gonna put my money on it. I would actually be starting Dylan Sampson 12, 14, 16 team leagues in full PPR this week. All right.

SPEAKER_03:

I like I like Dylan Sampson as more of a DFS play than I do in a in my Super Bowl. But you know, if you had to do it, he is going to get the vault.

SPEAKER_00:

If you had Jordan Mason, if you had Trevion Henderson, if you had some of these other injuries or something like that, or maybe you had um Rasheed Rice as a flex piece or whatever, plug in an injury, this could be an interesting guide to to help subside some of that um injury-ish.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, let's go to probably the snoozer of the week. We've got the Saints, the Titans here. Saints favored by two and a half, 39 and a half point over under. All right, not a ton of fantasy value here, Frank. Where is it? Dig through the pile of shit here and just tell me who to start in this game.

SPEAKER_00:

If anyone. Guys, for for me, the out of both teams, truly looking at it from both teams, knowing this is your Super Bowl, there's really only three people, and they're all on the Saints. It's Tyler Shug, if you need a good streaming option. This is a great matchup, and he is looking like the real deal for the Saints. Number two, the most surefire start. Don't think about it, just start him. Chris Olave. Guys, Chris Olave is exploding. He is Tyler Shug's guy. It has really been impressive what he's been able to do over the last few weeks. And it's honestly fun to see Chris Olave doing well. We've seen the potential, we've seen how good he is, and he just haven't had the quarterback play to get him there. And now Shug is targeting him. Love this. The last guy is actually Juwan Johnson. There's a lot of value from the tight end landscape. Certainly, it was Taysom Hill last week. This week, though, I'm looking as if it's gonna probably be that of Juwan Johnson. He's a little more of a fringe streamer tight end start. So again, recapping the for sure start Olave, streamer starts would be Shug at quarterback and that of Juwan Johnson at tight end.

SPEAKER_03:

Desperation start, possibly Shamir DK.

SPEAKER_00:

You could. You could. I mean, he's looking decent. I mean, that would have to be though. Yes, John, the answer is yes in a 14-16 team league. If you're in an 8-10, you're not even considering that. 12, I think, is a fringe play. You could be looking a little bit too cute, but there is. There certainly is the way he's been playing.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, let's move on here. We've got an AFC South showdown. Jaguars at Colts. Good old old man Rivers still on the Colts. It's not good for the Colts, man. It's just not. It sucks. No, it does. It sucks. Jaguars favored by seven on the road in a divisional game here. 46 and a half point over under. All right, let's start with the Colts because it is much more difficult now with Phillip Rivers in there. Where's the value outside of Jonathan Taylor with the Indianapolis Colts?

SPEAKER_00:

Guys, it's crazy to say this, but it Alec Pierce. Alec Pierce and Phillip Rivers, there's just something there. It's unexplainable. They just know, like you saw this pass when they were against the the 49ers, to where you're like, who the who the hell is this going to? And it was leading the Alec Alec Pierce into this like little zone. And it was before he was even out of his break. And that's what I'm talking about. There's certain things that there's just synergy that you can't even understand why it's happening. It's just it's working. And so for me, yeah, man, I'm starting Alec Pierce. Let me be crystal clear. I would start Alec Pierce in my Super Bowl because they're going to need to throw the ball against the Jaguars, right? The Jaguars are going to be stacking the box. They know it's Jonathan Taylor's show. Jonathan Taylor's been really struggling, especially since Danny Dimes has been hurt, actually since week 10. And so for me, man, they got to figure out other ways to help Jonathan Taylor. And right now, Michael Pittman's kind of being a decoy kind of guy. And then it's been Alec Pierce and even Josh Downs. We're seeing Josh Downs with some really decent floor with PPR. But again, for me, it's you're I'm firing up surefire, firing up Alec Pierce. I'm Firing up Tyler Warren because you kind of have to, because he's he's just that guy. He's he could score, but you're frustrated with him because it's Phillip Rivers, but you don't have a better option, so you're leaving Tyler Warren there.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, Tyler Warren's been tough. I mean, it's tough. You have to start him, but my God, I mean, he had nine targets on Monday night. That's what I'm saying. Only three catches for 30. You know, it's just the past three, four weeks have been really difficult for Tyler Warren. Yeah. I I think you have to put him out there, though, man. I mean, the talent is there. And if if Phillip Rivers can get him the ball, I mean, he absolutely could sneak a touchdown this week.

SPEAKER_04:

Definitely.

SPEAKER_03:

It's been tough. But I I love the call with Alec Pierce. Yeah. I mean, get him down the field on a Super Bowl. Yeah. In your Super Bowl, that's the kind of guy you need to boom, man, for you. Let's go. All right. Uh, Jaguars. Let's talk about the Jaguars here. This team's really been coming on kind of quietly, though. I mean, it's not like there's a couple of guys who are like, I have to start this guy, but talk about this offense, man. I mean, there's a lot of value with at least three, four players on this offense, I think.

SPEAKER_00:

John, beginning of this season, the theme was Liam Cohen. You and I couldn't have an episode without saying Liam Cohen. And there was a reason for that. Look at how much you're telling me that you plug in all these other coaches that Trevor Lawrence has had with the same exact players, but uh damn near pretty much, and they haven't performed to this level. It's because of Liam Cohen. Look at what Liam Cohen does. Look at what Ben Johnson is doing. Look at them breathe life into these teams and set them up for success. Man, let me tell you, Trevor Lawrence needs to be started now. He might be the hottest player in fantasy over the last three weeks. Guys, he is exploded. He's, I mean, I'll put him up with that of the likes of Matt Stafford and Puka. That's how much this dude has been on. So much more on the year right now. So much so that Travis Etien came out and said, I played with this guy in Clemson and I've never seen him play at this level. Tell me that that guy isn't coming on hot. So for me, you fire up Trevor Lawrence and I might even actually fire him up in D V DFS, man. That's how much I believe in this guy.

SPEAKER_03:

Set him to this. Look at the past two weeks, real quick, Frank, with Trevor Lawrence. Against the Jets, he was QB1, five touchdowns. Against Denver, he was QB two, three passing touchdowns. I mean, you know, those are legit defenses here, and you gotta play them. I agree.

SPEAKER_00:

Nine total touchdowns, John. So that's eight passing and one rushing in the in the week against the Jets. And so you gotta fire him up. And then you look at ETN, you're starting ETN. Now, this isn't a smash start. I want to be crystal clear. The reason that uh CMC did so well was because of that receiving end to also offset a lot of the rushing, meaning the rut it the be due to him doing so well at the receiving, it opened up the holes from the rushing attack as well. So if we can get ETN some of those receptions, which we've seen in the last week or so, then ETN could then even explode even further from the rushing attack. So I love ETN. And John, I'm firing up Jacoby. Listen, I'm firing up Jacoby Myers. He has been the anchor of this team. Shout out to you, brother. You just got paid on a three-year extension. And I'm so happy for Jacoby Myers because since he came in, it's like he has been the leader they've needed. BTJ is too is you know as good as what he was last year. He's just not mature enough yet to continuously carry this through. That's where you need a true anchor, a receiver one anchor that's it helping all of these other guys. And so what we're seeing is it's elevating Parker Washington, it's elevating BTJ again, it's elevating Basil Tootin. We saw Brenton Strange come out and look pretty darn well this past week as well. So for me, man, there's a lot of fantasy value here. So it's Trevor Lawrence, ETN, Jacoby Myers is my surefire starts. Then you could certainly look to start Brian Thomas Jr. And if you need a tight end, you could look to Brenton Strange, though the floor is pretty low, though the ceiling is high as well.

SPEAKER_03:

So, real quick, let's talk about BTJ because it is possible that people are sitting there wondering, can they put him in their flex? Sure. In their Super Bowl. You want to, you really, really want to. Can we really trust that right now, Frank?

SPEAKER_00:

So when looking at Brian Thomas and what he's been able to do, guys, over the last few weeks, okay. So he ended up having outside of this past week against the Denver Broncos. Remember, the Denver Broncos and their defense is very, very good. Okay, so before that, he played against the Jets to where he had seven targets, four receptions, 66 yards, and a touchdown. And then against Indy, oh, that sounds familiar. Against Indy, who they're playing here, he ended up having six targets, three receptions, 87 yards, and not a touchdown, but what that equates to about 10.2 points in half PPR. So outside of last week, the two prior weeks, he had double digits. So what I'm telling you is yes, he is a viable start. Though that's why I said Jacoby Myers is my surefire anchor. He's the guy I'm fully willing to start. If you need to start BTJ, you can. But again, there's a floor issue with him that we've seen all this year that we didn't see last year, to where he could get you two, three, four, and you're sitting there kind of pissed off.

SPEAKER_03:

Well, you were liking Travis Etienne's receiving ability again in this game here. Travis Etienne has four receiving touchdowns in the past two weeks. Yeah, baby. Fire him up, I think he's going to win your Super Bowl for you. All right, let's move on here. We got the Buccaneers at the Dolphins. Buccaneers are favored on the road by five and a half points, 46.5 point over under. Frankie, let's make it real easy. Let's go to the Dolphins and please name me the two guys you're willing to start for the Dolphins.

SPEAKER_00:

Devon Achan and Jalen Waddle. Those are probably the two guys. And then you could look to Darren Waller, depending on, but man, let me let me say this as well. It's even a little sketchy with Waddle because Quinn Uers comes in. There's not a lot of uh of gusto between the two of them. They're trying to figure it out on the fly. So for me, man, it really is one and then maybe two if you need it. Gotcha.

SPEAKER_03:

Uh, what about the Buccaneers here? Baker Mayfield. Uh uh, we're looking at him doing some magic here with these receivers, a little convoluted in there. Which receivers are you picking out this week?

SPEAKER_00:

Guys, it's Mike Evans. I mean, the dude, I mean, they're targeting the hell out of that guy in the red zone, and they're targeting him just in general. So, absolutely number one, it's Mike Evans. And guys, outside of that, flip a coin. We're starting to see a downcrease with that of Igbuka. Actually, it hasn't even been down, it's just been plateau. It's been six, seven, eight points over the last like six weeks, and it's hard. He's not making that jump again. And it's because, right in the beginning of the year, Mike Evans was hurt, Chris Godwin was hurt, they needed somebody to step up. He's well good enough to do that, but now there's just too many mouths to feed. And so, and then you you know, factor in Kate Otten and then some of the receiving backs as well. So, for me, guys, I'm actually real nervous about a Godwin or a Buka start. I'm sure fire starting up Mike Evans, though, 100%. Now, John, I do want to make one call out here, and it is kind of risky. And I say that because I'm looking at Bucky Irving, and what do we do with Bucky Irving against the Dolphins defense, which by the way, has been coming on a little bit against the D against the rush. And so when we look at what Bucky Irving has done, man, he's getting, it's not uh by any means an issue with utilization. He's got 19 attempts last week, 16, 15, 17 just on the ground alone. But it's been what he's doing with the attempts. He only had 71 yards last week and no touchdown, 60 yards the week before against Atlanta, no touchdown, 55 yards the week before, and the only reason why he scored was based on a um a pass catch, uh a receiving touchdown. And then against Arizona, he had one touchdown as well from a rushing perspective. What I'm getting at is they're using Sean Tucker in this red zone. So you gotta, yes, you're firing up Bucky Irving because you need to, but also just know that he's losing playing time when it comes to the red zone to Sean Tucker, and we're seeing Rashad White come into the fold a bit more on passing downs. So it's a little bit touch and go. Yeah, he's just not getting in the end zone for you.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I mean, 60 yards rushing, 70 yards rushing the past two weeks, no touchdowns, and his receiving work is non-existent. Non-existent. There's nothing there. Zero targets last week, three targets on one catch the week before. So you can't really bank on that. Yeah, I mean, I would look at other options. I this could be a week where he does have a big breakout, though. You know, this Miami defense is not something to truly be scared of. So he could take 50 yards into a touchdown as well.

SPEAKER_00:

It's must win for their division, right? They lost against the Panthers, so now they're a game behind the Panthers. So they beat the Dolphins at the Dolphins. Panthers lose to the Seahawks, which we'll talk about next. Then it becomes a tie. And then right now, Panthers have the head to head. So then it goes to week 17, where everything matters. Or week 18, excuse me, where everything matters. All right, well, let's go right to that game.

SPEAKER_03:

Let's go to the Seahawks here. Seahawks at the Panthers. Uh, Seahawks favored by seven and a half points. Man, tough to beat this team right now. I mean, what a performance they had on Thursday night. Woo! 42 and a half point overunder. All right, let's go to that Seahawks team. Talk to me about just the plethora of options here for us.

SPEAKER_00:

I mean, it's crazy, man. I mean, JSN, guaranteed start. Like you're firing up, you're not even thinking about it. I mean, damn near, you could also make an argument for both of the running backs. I mean, what we're seeing is Kenneth Walker, welcome back. You know, we said we were a little bit nervous. We actually would choose Zach Charbonnet. John, you called that out last week, and Zach Charbonnet was the guy that was scoring. It just so happens Kenneth Walker broke a few and then ended up scoring as well from one of those. So we talked about the big play potential with Kenneth Walker while the red zone threat is uh Zach Charbonnet. Guys, I love both of them in this week against the Panthers.

SPEAKER_03:

It played out just like we said.

SPEAKER_00:

It totally, yes. So fire them both up. And then in addition, man, you know, I talked about Rashid Shahid as a potential boom play last week. Guys, he scored in a punt fashion, a punt return fashion, which is phenomenal. So there's a lot of cool shit there. Though in this matchup, I'm actually gonna lean elsewhere. I'm not gonna lean so much with Shaheed in my Super Bowl, though I could certainly make an argument for that of AJ Barner. What we're seeing from a tight end landscape, there is a lot of good things to like about this guy. He's getting the targets, he's getting the yardage, and he's certainly getting the looks in the red zone, which he scored this past week. So if you need a tight end from a streaming standpoint, AJ Barner could be very interesting. All right, talk to me about the Panthers offense here. Who do you like on the Panthers? John Hate, there's one, there's only one, and it's Tedaroa McMellan. Guys, and and outside of that, I don't see anybody else. The reason being because you could you could have said Rico Dowdle, Rico's now splitting time with Chuba, and it's leaning Chuba more than it's leaning Rico. And you can't start Chuba because Rico's taking away from Chuba. And so they kind of, and against this Seattle defense, neither of those are great options. So you I'm actually sitting both those running backs, and I'm not even looking at Bryce Young, man. Bryce Young makes me real nervous in this type of game. Yes, I know that they're at home. Yes, I know that they need to win, but for me, it's Tetaroa, and that's where it starts and stops. Okay, let's move on here.

SPEAKER_03:

Patriots at the Jets AFC East. Let's go. 13 and a half point favorite are the Patriots going into New York. That's just disrespectful. 42 and a half point over under. All right, we'll we'll start with the easy one here. The Jets. Are you starting anybody for the Jets?

SPEAKER_00:

Zero. Literally, zero. Literally, I'm not starting a soul. Not one.

SPEAKER_03:

You're sitting Brees Hall in your Super Bowl.

SPEAKER_00:

I would be sitting Brees Hall against the Patriots, yes.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, okay. Well, you're probably not in your Super Bowl if Brees Hall's your RB. Correct. Let's just go there. All right, let's go to the Patriots. You're going ape shit with Drake May right now. Everybody. Everybody. Everybody. Who are we starting to hear, Frankie? Now, Trevion Henderson, concussion. May not be in with him out. Are you going to win your Super Bowl with Ramondre Stevenson? Oh, I can't even say it without who.

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, Ramondre Stevenson is the loan back in a Jets matchup is so sexy. It's the it's so good, guys. I mean, this is what we this is what it's about all year long.

SPEAKER_03:

And now we're telling you to start him and win your Super Bowl with Ramondre Stevenson.

SPEAKER_00:

DFS, I'm taking him. I'm probably putting out three lineups, man, and I'm taking him in one for sure. Not even a question. So, yes, man. Yeah, we're rolling out Ramondre. Get ready. Let's do it.

SPEAKER_03:

You gotta stay water. I don't like Ramondre Stevenson. I don't know why they keep giving him the ball. But now he may have the backfield to himself playing against a terrible New York Jets team in your Super Bowl. He may win it for you. I can't believe it. We're in a simulation. Dogs and cats are living together. It's everything. The end of the Bible, all of the worst parts of the Bible. And Ramondre Stevenson's gonna win you your Super Bowl. That's right.

SPEAKER_04:

Okay.

SPEAKER_03:

It's wild.

SPEAKER_00:

And let's take it a step further. I am firing up without a question of a doubt, Stefan Diggs. Yeah. Guys, Stephon Diggs, he is just, yeah, he has a little bit of a scary floor. I'll give you that. Sure. But if but if Booty is still banged up, right? And what we're seeing from Stephon Diggs, man, he's a true leader in this locker room. Actually, it's been really cool to see the maturity with this guy. Um, especially after all the turmoil with the Bills and you know, all this stuff. For some reason, man, Drake May and Stefan Diggs is working very well, at least this season. So for me, I'm firing up him, and you're firing up Hunter Henry. This is a big week for Hunter Henry from a tight end standpoint.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, Hunter Henry touchdown this week, guys. Definitely gonna happen. All right, let's keep going here. Giants at Raiders, another game nobody's gonna be watching here. Thank God for red zone. Giants favorite on the road, one and a half points, 41 and a half point over under. Not a ton of options here, but we got a couple of guys here, Frank. Uh, start with the Giants. Who are we rolling out with the Giants against a very bad Raiders defense?

SPEAKER_00:

Guys, I mean, there's really only one guy, and it's Wandale Robinson, in my opinion. He's the only guy I'm willing to start. You could look at Theo Johnson if you absolutely need a tight end stream and a deep league. Certainly could be the guy. But for me, that is it. I don't even, I'm not even really looking at Tyrone Tracy, anything along those lines. It's just there's something about the Raiders' defensive front that just the Max Crosby can take over a game. He's actually showed that a few times. And it's, I don't know if Tyrone Tracy's really good enough to kind of overcome that in terms of having a massive, massive game for your Super Bowl. So you might have to start him. Go ahead. But for me, it'd just be Wandale.

SPEAKER_03:

I agree. Now, if you're in your Super Bowl in a super flex, Jackson Dart, absolutely, I guess. QB2, no question. All right, what about the Raiders here, man? Is there really just the two options here for the Raiders?

SPEAKER_00:

Yep. You know him and I know him, and everybody else does too. We're starting Ashton Gente, and it's Brock Bowers, baby.

SPEAKER_03:

I love it, man. Hey, Ashton Gente's got a pretty good matchup here. He could end up coming on strong for you in your Super Bowl if you made it that far with him. Sure does. Absolutely. All right, let's keep going here. Eagles at Bills. Great game. Let's get a good one on here. Bills are favored at home by two and a half points, 43.5 point over under. Let's start with the Bills. This one's always a little difficult. You love your Josh Allen. You love your James Cook. He's been so good to you all year long. What about the receivers here and tight ends for the Bills, man? Where are you going?

SPEAKER_00:

Guys, super easy. For the Bills, I'm looking at a Dalton Kincaid. Maybe if you need, if you need a additional tight end, you could look at Dawson Knox as well. But from a receiver perspective, guys, I mean, we're seeing Coleman get, I mean, he's constantly getting healthy scratched. So him and Gabe Davis, guys, set them to the side. They're irrelevant. You're not even worried about them in your Super Bowl. John Hot take. I don't know if I'm starting anybody from the receiver perspective, including Khalil Shakur against this defense. The only two would be those two tight ends, and obviously James Cook and obviously Superman himself, just because he's going to figure it out. But that's it. I'm not starting any receiver options against the Eagles. Wow. Oh, wow.

SPEAKER_03:

Oh, okay. Now let's go to the Eagles here. I'm going to allow it, Frankie. I'm not going to hammer you on that one because I think you might be right on that front, man. I think it's going to be tight ends and running backs for the Bills. Uh, and probably Josh Allen doing a little bit.

SPEAKER_00:

And maybe Tyler Johnson. We're seeing Tyler Johnson as the receiving back get some work as well, which is really interesting. Stop that.

SPEAKER_03:

Okay. As a James Cook owner, stop it with the Tyler Johnson bullshit. God, it's ridiculous. Yeah. What about the Eagles here, man? I mean, not a slam dunk. I know it's probably like you're starting everybody, but you feel great about it.

SPEAKER_00:

And you don't. You nailed it. You absolutely you're starting AJ Brown, Devonta Smith, Jalen Hurd, Saquon Barkley, Goddard. That's it. But you don't feel good about it. Like all of these are like good options and silos, but not, I promise you guys, not all of these guys are going to hit. And so that's what you need to be like real with yourself is that two, three, sure, all five are not going to hit this week.

SPEAKER_03:

No, and it's a good matchup. It's a good matchup. And, you know, it could be AJ Brown or it could be Devonta Smith. I think it's going to be one or the other, depending on how they decide to play against this team and who they decide to shut down. But I don't think it's going to be both. I think it's a Devonta Smith week. I really do. I think they're going to try to put AJ AJ Brown in in his place and uh dare them to run with Saquon Barkley, and which they haven't had a ton of success doing. So no, not this year. Yeah. So how do you feel about Saquon? I mean, do you think this is a good matchup for him? You think this is a week for him to kind of shut down the naysayers and help somebody win their Super Bowl? What are you thinking there?

SPEAKER_00:

I do. I do. I think this is a good week because we've seen um teams be able to rush against the Buffalo Bills. But the problem is is the OC for the Eagles. Their schemes have been off. They're not right. Their offense is off. It's discombobulated. They're they're not in sync with a lot of the stuff kind of happening together. So for me, man, yeah, I think this is a good matchup to your point. And you gotta start Saquon if you got him, 100%. I mean, he's yeah, I wouldn't say he's a reason you're in the Super Bowl by any means, but I would say he's not. I mean, you gotta start him um for your Super Bowl. But yeah, man, there's definitely a little bit of uh uneasiness, is the is the nice way to put it.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, let's get to Sunday night here, man. This is the team that we've had a lot of trouble all year trying to predict here. And I don't think it's gonna get any easier moving forward. We've got the Bears at the 49ers. 49ers are favored by three at home. 51 and a half point over under. We got some scoring on the uh horizon here in this game. Let's start with the Bears. It's been a bitch all year to figure this one out, man. Where have you come to now? Week 17, talking about the Bears each and every goddamn week, trying to figure out where the points are gonna come. Where are they coming this week, Frankie? Where do you feel good about starting, guys?

SPEAKER_00:

On the Bears. Smash star Caleb Williams. Guys, smash star Caleb Williams. Look at what old man Rivers did to this defense. Look at what some of these other quarterbacks have done to the 49ers defense. The 49ers are not winning games because of their defense. I want to be crystal clear. They're winning games because their offense is putting up ungodly amounts of points. Okay. And so they have awesome assets all over the field AK, CMC, Kittle, Juwan Jennings, etc. So for me, man, Caleb Williams is a smash start. The other guy that I'm firing up without a question of doubt is DJ Moore. Right now, DJ Moore is a sympathy. There's something great happening between him and Caleb Williams. So you gotta fire him up. Now, you could look at Rome. Rome's been banged up big time and he has been underperforming, which is why I'm going with uh DJ Moore over Rome for sure. And then I'm looking at Colston Loveland. The reason that I like Colston Loveland, guys, is because of his floor. Even if it's half PPR, there's a five-six-point floor. And from a tight end, you're not mad about that. And so for me, man, I really like Colston Loveland in this kind of play. Um, he's going to be confusing with some of the sets that they run with Ben Johnson to those linebackers, so I can see him getting open. So for me, man, it's Colston Loveland, DJ Moore, Caleb Williams, and DeAndre Swift. I am firing up Swift. This just screams a Swift style game. When we look at what um Jonathan Taylor did for the most part, they actually shut him down. Okay, and that's a Kyle Menungay type of rushing attack to where I see he's gonna have some tough sledding versus DeAndre Swift. We could see some pass catching out of the backfield. We're gonna see a change of pace kind of option. I like him over Menungai this week.

SPEAKER_03:

All right, sounds good. I like it, man. All right, let's get to the 49ers. Who are you going with here, man? I think the biggest question marks is gonna be in their passing game. Where do you go there?

SPEAKER_00:

Definitely, guys. If Kittle's if Kittle's uh playing, you're starting him. If he's hurt, what is what is it? Tunges? Help me out, John. Tunges. Yeah. Tunges. You can look at Tunges. He's a very viable streaming piece and a guy that they've actually targeted quite a bit when Kittle's been out. So if Kittle's playing, you're he's a smash start. If not, you're looking to Tunges. Um, and then Juwan Jennings. Man, oh man, what we're seeing with Juwan Jennings and and Brock Purdy is something of beauty. I mean, he's targeting the hell out of him. Juwan Jennings is healthy again, finally. They're really hitting everything on all cylinders. It fire up Juwan Jennings, fully comfortably and confident. And then, of course, the big man, CMC, smash start, rock and roll.

SPEAKER_03:

Yeah, I think he's gonna be running back one this week, man. That's the first defense. I really do. At home. Love it. All right. Last game here on the slate. Let's get to Monday night. We've got two really good defenses here. Rams at Falcons. So we're playing indoors here with the Rams. Eight and a half points is a spread favored in the Rams direction here. 49 and a half point over under. All right, is the Matthew Stafford Puka stack going to win you your Super Bowl this week?

SPEAKER_00:

Yes, it will. It's like I want to like, I wish I had a conch shell. I wish I could just like assemble. And all of a sudden, Matt Stafford and Puka come out. Like, yeah, dude, absolutely. These guys are gonna lead you to the promised land.

SPEAKER_03:

Devontae Adams out once again. Oh, it's just gonna be the Puka show.

SPEAKER_00:

It's gonna be Puka all day. And then good luck trying to pick a tight end. Because I'll tell you what, we thought Colby uh Parkinson was a smash start. And look at Terrence Ferguson over there scoring a ton of touchdowns. They have three very good tight ends, guys. So I'm leaning not towards playing any of those tight ends. Don't risk it. It's Kyron Williams, it's Puka Nakua, it's Matt Stafford, and in very deep leagues. You can look at Blake Korham. You can absolutely look at Blake Koram. Guys, this split is becoming more and more in favor of Koram. Now it's totally still Kyron's backfield. Let me be crystal clear. But Koram is a legitimate piece in this offense. He is playing, he is scoring. John, help me help tell the audience. Uh, what was the touchdown? How many touchdowns for Blake Quorum in the last few weeks? Because I'm telling you, man, I know last week he scored the week previous. This dude is on a tear right now.

SPEAKER_03:

Five goddamn touchdowns, Frankie. That's what we're talking about. Five in the past two weeks.

SPEAKER_00:

In the four weeks, past four weeks, past four weeks. That's insane. And then John looking at this from last week, in the last four weeks alone, last week was his lowest rushing output with still 48 rushing yards. He had 71 the week before, 128 prior to that, and 81 in week 13. Guys, he is on an absolute freakish tear. And here's what's even crazier is that he had 14 touches last week from a rushing perspective, 11 and 12 in the in the weeks prior. Double digit attempts in each of the last three weeks. Blake Corum is absolutely a guy. They're saving Kyron for the playoff push. They're looking at these guys as a tandem, which makes Blake Corum a fantasy golden nugget for these deep leagues.

SPEAKER_03:

I love it, man. I love it. What a sneaky, sneaky snake. Snick a snake for your Super Bowl. Could Blake Corum be the guy to win you your Super Bowl? He could. He could. He's throwing out a few crazy names today that uh that could get you there. All right, let's look at the Falcons, man. Anybody, what what are our options here on the Falcons? Drake London came back. Fire him up. Disappointing, but you have to play him, right? Yeah, eight, nine targets. You gotta fire him up. You got another week back on the field, so maybe he's gonna be feeling a little better, be out there for a little more snaps, but I think you have to get him out there, right? And Kyle Pitts. I mean, let's talk about this guy who actually is winning people their goddamn sickening, you know, playoff games.

SPEAKER_00:

It's Kyle Pitts. Oh, you mean the number two tight end on the year? Yeah, sure. Let's let's go with Kyle Pitts. Like, guys, this is how insane of a run Kyle Pitts is on in the last four weeks. I'm just gonna list off targets. Eight targets, ten targets, twelve targets, nine targets. Go fuck yourself, Kyle Pitts. Sorry, I'm a little bit upset because he knocked me out and he beat you. Fuck you, Kyle Pitts. Let's go to the amount of receptions in the last four weeks, starting with week 13. 7, 6, 11, 7, 7, 6, 11, 7. Then let's go to yardage 82, 90, 166, 57, and four touchdowns in the last four weeks. Guys, Kyle Pitts is on a mega tear, and they're absolutely going to need him against the Rams. And the Falcons are still not necessarily completely out of the realm of possibility of upsetting the Rams because we've seen crazier shit happen. So for me, man, in order for them to do that, we are going to need to see another big game from Kyle Pitts, and we could absolutely see it. God, that's sick.

SPEAKER_03:

I know. Congratulations to all of you who are in the Super Bowl where you wouldn't be normally unless you had Kyle Pitts. Yeah, I know. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah, exactly. Uh, anything else on the Falcons here, Frankie and Ramsey? Nothing else. Enjoy Bijan. Enjoy Bijan. Yeah. All right, guys, that is the show for today. I hope we gave you a few tips.
